Light stress.

Hi Everyone,
This muppet “ XTSHO “ from this lovely site. Told me to lower my 600w hps 12” from the canopy of my 27 day old healthy autoflowers, me stupidly and being a newb believed him him even when I thought it a bit strange. Did it….. and it’s basically killed them and by the looks of it fucked my beautiful up until now first grow… then called him out on it and he’s nowhere to be seen…. Asshole!
Anyway that’s my rant.
Here’s the aftermath….
If anyone that knows what they are doing can give me some sound advice I’d be more than greatful. There’s two photos off the aftermath and one of what it liked before….

Thanks….. been going so good up until that muppet.
Just got me disappointed as I’ve put so much time, money, effort into doing this seeds are so expensive here….I’m a cancer patient and can’t afford a whole lot of medication. As it costs me 165$ for grams with prescription!

They don't looked light stressed at all. 2 look over watered and 1 looks fine!!
I see heaps of people with HPS that close with no issues!

Wow, people say under watered, some say over watered. There is so much conflicting advice on ….. I’m just gonna stick to what been working. Should’ve have just kept doing what I was doing!
this is stressful asfuck….

Before and after light being close. Seems like a big difference to me after the light only being that low over night.

Over or under watered they don't look like they have any light stress.
Personally I think they look over watered!!

No problem man.
You’re gonna get opinions here, and not all opinions are the same, or right.
And what seems natural to an experienced grower may be foreign to a newbie.
And sometimes errors happen.
In your case you have nothing to worry about.
Plants take all kinds of lickings and keep on ticking. Especially cannabis.
If you’re here long enough you’ll see plants in a lot worse shape.
Good luck on your grow and your health.
Don’t stress. Not good for anybody.

If they were doing great, and your watering was dialed in, looking at how they are I would say possible ph issue, or large swing in ph. Make sure to check that and keep it steady. They will throw a fit for a bit if they got a large ph swing in watering. Are you using same water source?
 
Soil ph levels are correct, same as watered ph.
Soon as I did what this guy said, they went down hill over night . They have been going great up until now…..
 
It’s not water.
It’s not PH.
The lights were a little close for young plants for a day.
No harm. No foul.
Nothing more to see here.
 
Double check your ph meter just to be safe, just a suggestion to be sure man. Ive had them fail often till i got a good one. It just doesnt look like light stress to me at all.
 
Light stress for a day looks different than light stress for a week or month.
You’re not gonna see bleaching or burns in a day.
What you see is the leaves retreating from the intensity.
 
All is good man, its one or the other. I had recently a 50 plant greenhouse grow week 3 flower do exactly that, and it was due to a flush being done with well water 7.8 ph, plants were getting 6.2, They were pissed and showed exactly what your pictures do. I was not happy with the person lol. Within a day of feeding again they were fine:clap::D

Thanks man…. Never realised how stressful this shit is…
Will double check soil ph this arvo and get back to you, as I’ve fed them this morning as they were due…
