light setup ?

im using cfls rite now. but im looking for an hid set up. my closet in 8 ft. long and 2 1/2 ft. wide. im thinking about using either 1 600 watt. or 1 1000 watt set up. does anyone know of a mid level price setup that comes with all the parts im talking ballast, bulbs, and reflector. or should i get each part on its own. i have 5 to 6 plants in my closet at a time.. any help woulb be great thanks

Shop around, get what will work best for your space.
There are package deals, but on the whole I would really recommend creating your own set up and taking the time to familiarize yourself with what's available, and the pro's and con's of all the gear.
I'm still on CFL's myself, mostly because where I am heat is such a concern I'm not convinced I could keep a reasonable temperature using proper grow lights.
My research did uncover a whole slew of options and possibilities though.
Keep in mind with 1000 watt you are going to need ventilation and have to do a portion of work on your end when the parts arrive anyhow.

I think it would work because your closet is so narrow. maybe a 400w with side lighting or two 200w with some CFLs or something like that

yeah i think im going to try something like that.. my red deisel stay short. and i bend them so it should be good
