I am running two 4 ft. soft white flouresents 40 watts and 1 20 watt cfl brite. its for one plant. my question is would it be better to add a coolwhite 4 ft tube to the mix? it seems kind of dim for some reason my grow room is only like 2x2 I have been on 12-12 for 4 days my 4 ft bulbs are 3000k any help would be cool this is my first indoor grow so I know my setup is amateur but its all i got!

put some more tubes around it. Plant looks great for that amount of light. get plant as close to the tubes as close as you can

Ok first Off i just want to say good job she looks beautiful. Second I see three things you can do:
1. you could add another tube at 3000k for more light because in the flowering cycle you need more light in the red zone because your plant is begging for it. The flowering cycle uses up a ton of energy but not if it does not have enough light, water, or air/co2.
2. You could cover the room in mylar and increase the use of your lights. I see your walls are bright white and yes that helps but not as much as mylar. Mylar reflects 95% of light.
3. You might want to add a small co2 genorater something like a fermenting yeast setup.
I thingk these 3 things will help you have a great harvest. Personaly, I would do all 3. (Dont forget, the more lumens in the red are you have in the harvest the more compact your buds will be.)
TIP: this is a newish thing going around but if you want to increase the potency of the tricromes on the plant or in simple term s make that shit dank go to your local pet store and pick up a reptile light with uvb light in it. Trust me! Have the light on the plant (not to close) for 4-5 hours each day in the middle of the day (do not be in the room while it is on). The reaction between uvb and the tricromes will help it reach greatness.

Aluminized Mylar only reflects up to 92% of visible light, and it's blue(400-500 nm) light. It does reflect up to 98% of IR, though, completely worthless for plants, but nearly perfect reflectivity!

yes, yes, yes this is all well and good but it felcets light none the less and we all know that light does deminish over a distance even more so for flouresents. And ether way a highly refective room will help increase light efficiency and intensity resulting more for the girl to absorb and use so it is not a bad idea to add it to the room.

Yes you should run cool tubes or 1 to 1 mixed during veg. Then run more warm white and more lumens in flower

Light decays the same for all light types, according to the inverse square decay law. Which means a brighter source will decay more rapidly than a less-bright source. Or, the volume gained as the source intensity increases is a diminishing return. The volume of a sphere as it gets larger increases ever more greatly the larger it becomes.
I suggest you get a browser that supports spell check.
He already uses reflectors for his fixtures. As we all should know light decays greatly with distance, regardless of the bulb type. Can he really justify the expense of aluminized Mylar(*maybe* 10% more reflectance than TiO2 white paint) considering the relatively long distances from the light, to the wall, back to the plant?
now I have 3 4 ft. bulbs 1 cool white and 2 soft white 3000k and a 20 watt. cfl I am thinking on putting a couple more cfls in there do you think this will help? My hope is to have a couple hps in a couple weeks. I have been using miracle grow then I switched to shultz 10-15-10 and I guess thats the wrong food at this stage I guess I need bloom food

Yea more CFLs will help! Spread them out, though. Try to achieve even coverage.
