I have a 2000 watt dimmable full spec light and was wanting to get another light that’s 3000 watts dimmable to daisy chain. When I connect the 3000 to my 2000 does that mean is going to output the whole 5000 or am I only going to get the 3000 on side and 2000 on the other with uneven distributions. I like the idea of using dimmable full spec cause the lights are white and I can see problems or deficiencies better.

You have to have a way to measure the light. The amount of energy being sent at the plant at a certain distance.

I use a lux meter. I've never measured the wattage of my set up.

How much area are you trying to light?

FYI your real output will be no where near 5000w.

It’s 504 pieces with 16 infrared and the 3000 is 1200 pieces I think. The umols are 2.8 on my 1500 and the 3000 in wanting is from spider farmer I think it’s 2.9

That’s what I was wondering so they would have one side 3000 and one side would be 1500 . I just didn’t know if they would average together if they were daisies up.

they are you are right they say 2000 and 3000 cause there chips double with the reflector. I did some looking up and they only draw the 200 and 300 but pull 2k and 3k with the led chips. I just didn’t know if it would make it 500 all around or 200 one side and 300 the other. Idk if I’m gonna get the ts3000 or the spider farmers 2000

The spider farmer seems to have more accurate numbers on there par and umols than the 3000. Far red has been killing it with yield numbers.

I’ve only begged for two weeks after clone transplant and my ladies have exploded because of the chips. I’m happy with the single light but only at veg. It doesn’t wanna pull my buds out like they should so I plan on doubling my light coverage for each plant and buying individual bloom bulbs come flower

It sounds like you have more reading to do on lighting. I have no idea why you keep saying 2000 and 3000...

You didn't even answer which light you currently have.

In no way can a reflector double chips and there is no way they pull 2000 or 3000 watts!

If light draws 200w it's a 200 watt light, PERIOD! There's no free lunch with the laws of physics. :wink:

Mars hydro Ts 2000 and ts 3000 dimmable. There leds equivalent those wattages why else would they say 2000 watt and 3000 watt lights. I know the others say 2000 watts and there way off but there’s make up 2000 without having to buy big ass boxes to handle that many watts.

600, 1000 and 2000 watt hps lamps require the ballast boxes cause they would blow every breaker in the house and electric would slam a cost. but leds now make converting that in 2000 watts or 3000 with a single 200 wat 120 or 240 plug in. 500 plus 3 in one chips. I’ve done the homework and I like full spectrum cause I can see my ladies better. I know how much the power draw is I just needed to know how much they pulled side by side. Either 500 total or 200 on one side and 300 on the other . Common sense knows

LEDs broke those physics about a year and a half ago. 3chips in one to covert them over 500 lights instead of a single watt for a single Samsung chip.

No where does Mars Hydro claim they are 2000 watt lights lmao. 2000 is the model number. You really need to do some more research. It's a 300w light.
