Light question - spacing and coverage

Would (3) 315 cmh lights cover (2) 2x4 ft trays, arranged in a 2x8 ft length, adequately?

The room is slightly larger than 5x10 ft and I'd like to allow myself some space to work.

Eventually I'll be adding a 3rd tray to make an L shape. I'm trying to be modular in this new space.

I will be investing in a few hlg 320w kits over said trays for next summer's run.

Trying to mull it over, but would like input.

Oh ya, I think so. My first grow I had just 2 CMH in a 3 x 8 closet and got 1 1/2 lb. I was gonna order a third, but added LED's instead. I love the combo.

Considering that a 315 covers a 3x3 pretty decently I'd say it would be safe to arrange them evenly spaced in a line for a 2x8 coverage area

Yeah, definitely, more than adequate... each 315 CMH can cover a 2x4 tray so you should crush with 3.
