a piece of panda film would work or just grab a cheap tent to fit inside it

do you mean an 8x8 foot closet?
Well the room is occupied so there will probly be light on in the room during the dark pierods that what in worried about and the 8x8 is the size of the door opening that in trying to cover srry

I'm about to convert my closet into a another veg area. After removing the junky doors I need to light proof/enter the EXACT same size doorway style opening covering as you. I just got the panda plastic and was brainstorming how to attach it with the ability to open close. I'm going to line the opening of the doorway and the plastic with double sided velcro stripping. I can open and close it like the air vent covers on my (Jardin) tent. Well see how that works, unless I think of something else or ya'll do:) happy growing brother. Very cool you have a spot to grow.

a tent .........the quickest way that makes it light proof and allows u to run negitive pressure keeping the smell in check it can be taken down so nothing needs to be fixed or changed u can move it to a new area

That's funny you ask because I was just telling my old lady I am going to attempt to light proof the entire studio as best as possible and the front door way leaks light all around the frame and bottom and let's in HOT cali air. I'm going to try my Midwest winterizing tek
How would you suggest light proofing a door? My grow room has light seeping in from the crack of the door.

Tents are DEFINITELY the best way to go. I just got my first secret Jardin 3X3 dr90 II. Right after I set it up I realized that I wanted a more. Cheaper than building a new area with the control like you mentioned about neg. Pressure etc...I'm looking at 4x8, and 5x5, also interested in the 2x4 smaller guys instead of trying to convert the closet (humidity/heat/ventilation) all made so easy with a few hundred bucks. Even if I have a spare room just for growing, I think I would throw a few tents in regardless. My girlfriend wouldn't like it but my studio could probably hold two 8x12's or so:) a couple walk in's for veg. And flower.
