Light proofing a micro grow box

I've got a grow box that is 12"x12"x24" and it has a hole for intake at the bottom and an 80mm pc fan for outake right under lights. I need help light proofing and smell proofing this bitch.

I'll add pictures and some of my ideas when i can get my damn camera working.

Any and all help is needed and welcomed due to this being my first indoor grow.

As for the smell proof problems I'm thinking of 2 different methods unless I get off my creative ass and think of somethin out of the ordinary that works pretty good.
