light problem with no solution...?

Hi Guys.

First time thread ever..infact, I've never made a blog, but I'm confident I can contribute here..

Question..

It has been said that extra light or disturbed light patterns during flowering stages of a plant will stop flowering and revert her back to vegetative state, and that fact is supported by countless articles.

Does this hold true even after an extended period of flowering..say for example 5 weeks?

Heard all about hermies and done my share of reading, just can't seem to find any appropriate articles..Note that turning off the light is not an option as the owner is not in charge of the switch....

And short question..Another theoretical situation..

Rabbits ate the top..2 sets of leaves remained..is it normal for any plant to develop 2 or 4 main growth sites?:weed:

Just interested...research purposes only...sorry about all the (...) I do that all the time..:joint:

kind regards,

:peace:twistedranks:peace:

You can reveg a plant at any point in flower, as long as it has leaves and plant growth to support it during the reveg.

I've never had any plants hermie during a reveg, but I suppose its possible. Hermies will be caused by light leaks during the dark period more than switching growth stages entirely.

So a rabbit either did, or theoretically did eat the the top of the plant, it basically gave it an amateur top. The plant would continue growing as best as it could, and yes, it would likely develop more large growth sites.

If you are serious about growing good cannabis you need to have control over the environment. 5 weeks is halfway for the majority of strains. It stinks to have to reveg because you can't control the lighting.

When the rabbits ate the top of your plant the performed a technique called topping!

How topping works: When you cut the main stem or top off your plant will regenerate 2-8 tops depending on the strain and where it was cut at.

Since you will now have 2-8 main colas instead of just 1 this will increase your yield as well!
