I just ordered my seeds and im trying to make sure im ready before they get here.Im planning on growing 2 plants at a time from seeding - vegetation stage in one area as you can see. Then moving them to a closet growing room for flowering. While those are flowering ill have 2 new ones in the seeding - vegetation stage for maximum plant # obviously.

right now i have 2, 2 foot fluorescent tubes T12 bulbs, 1025 lumen, 20 watt , 6,500K, bulbs on one fixtures as you can see on my vegetation area. but ive been reading a lot and now i dont think that is enough for 2 plants, is it? im planning on setting the plants up to the point where there leaves just touch but i dont think the tubes are long enough to do this is it possible. what should i do? If this is a problem I was thinking of just getting another 2 tubes of the ones i already have so ill have 4, 2 foot tubes in a row. any better ideas.

And for my 2.5' x 4.5' grow room closet for flowing can you help me pick out the best light for my situation. im not going to be using all of the space. like i said im planning on just having the 2 plants in there. but what are the best/most effective in speed flowering lights? and like how many should i get?

Thanks

PS. i bought organic nice Mirical Grow soil, but what nutrients/fertilizer should i get ive heard a lot of ones, which one should i get if im going to water once or twice a week like i read so what is the schedule for that stuff thanks. i know to stop fertilizing 2 weeks before harvest.

From what I've read on here I don't think miracle grow soil is the way to go. As for lighting in your flowering closet, I'd say maybe a 250 watt HPS. That should be enough for two plants

soil go with happy frog or foxfarm ocean sunshine mix#4 any of those, nutes for first time I would stick with the fox farm produces use them at like half strength til you get the feel of it, lighting remember the more the light the better or more dense the buds will be also you want enough light to penatrate to the lower buds as well if you can 250w hps would be nice but you could get away with 150w if money was a issue, I have notice myler on my floor helps some with the lower branches then the ones I do with out it

Very wise dude before adding any water to the seeds always make sure that the grow room is keyed perfectly. If the only lighting that you have is the low t12 then these will do perfect for getting seedlings and clone's going you can still get the seeds going under the lights till you key the other room where flowering and a small ammount of vegging will take place.I keep 4 mother plants under a 3ft light t5 and they just hold nice keep them on a realy low ppm and then you will always have a good supply of genetics. But i would get hold of a h.p.s light of any spec rather than try to get some bud of cfl or t12 they just have not got the back bone to give the plants the light they need for flowering vegging will do fine but will just take longer...........................................tyke.......................................................

Have to second that seeing as you did ask for the fastest option. Get a new dual spectrum 250w hps, hopefully pick up a ballast cheap somewhere to run it and possibly some cooling 'if' you dont have good ventilation and nice temps.

Thanks a lot guys. so im going to return the MG soil and get FoxFarm. As for lights for my vegetation stage ill put in an additional 2' tubs like i said. For flowering stage im going to get one something like this, http://www.horticulturesource.com/product_info.php?products_id=8678 , i was not expecting to spend this much so im only going to grab one. for 2 plants. Does all of this some like a good idea? Im also going to pick up some Mylar and put it in each area.

and i have not received the seeds yet so the plant you see there in some random plant.

And ill get all three types of FoxFarm nutrients and fertalizers. That is what my grow guide told me to get but the grow guides instructions were hard to follow. Does Tbl --> gallon , mean add a tablespoon to a gallon of water then give the plant a gallon of water lol no?

te schedule came out messed up so here is a link http://www.marijuanagrowguide.net/Soil.html

When mixing it always means, Tbs Tablespoon or tbs teaspoon per gallon.

I.e if your mixing container is 5 gallons and it says 2TBS per Gallon you would mix 10 Tablespoons with the 5 gallon of water then feed what they require from that concentration.

Sounds good, im not to sure on the ferts though, i go by what the plant needs and how the leaves look sort of, i dont go by a set schedule, but if it makes it a little easier for you go ahead, just watch for the leaves to start looking dark greenish, if you see that it means they have reached the point they have enough nutrients and adding any more would result in negative effects like nuteburn.
