wassup guys. so i have been debating in my head over and over whether or not to get a light mover. it has hella benefits nd since i am only working with a dual 150w hps cooltube i think i would be worth it.

so my question is...whoever has a light mover, is it worth the money? also do you guys have any pics to back up you claims on why it would be worth the money? thanks....

STAY HGH. and all you cali boys out der start blowing up our reps cuz now is the time to get that ab390 passed!

o and whoever hasn heard of it.. its the new assembly bill to legalize marijuan all together for people over 21 in california. and for all the young growers the medical car still is in place.

so looks like everyone on this site uses a stationary light? ill jus go ask this big growers at ICMAG then i gues...
Well, first off, have fun over there with the kids and childish games:bigjoint: Second, if any 'big growers' answer your question they're not much of a big grower, especially if they need a mover.....

So I am not going to waste much breath on this. I am NOT a 'big grower' by any means and I do use a mover. A light Rail 3.5 to be exact....

....and now there are actually 2 600's on there and I only have them moving about a foot. Light movers suck in all actuality...your asking for more from the light than it can cover, literally.....ask your self if your plants do better in direct sunlight all day, or only half, say if it's cloudy. Your plants will have much more dense buds with the direct light. Think of the lower buds on your plants......they can all be like that. I only use it to move a bit so it's more going back-and-forth and getting light better around the tops, yet is hitting a lot more underneath too.....

So it's really a matter of what your looking for, imo. If your trying to stretch your light, or get more than it can cover, you'll pay in other ways.

Just my $0.02...... so how are the kids across the street?? Ask Freezerboy or Stitch their opinion.......bet they agree with what I said....

Good Luck!:weed:

goodshit man. i apreciate the indepth answer. nd for what i said above, its jut annoying to not get a eply except when i say sum shit like that. and the thing is, my grow room is only four feet by four feet and i wanted to get the lightmover u got and i think even by the light being on side side it hits them enough on the other side since its so close still to the plants

Yes it is correct that you are just spreading the light that's available. The biggest advantage is that you can have the light closer to the plants without burning them as the light is not stationary for long. also if you have mould issues it may help by spreading the bud thinner (sea of green) thus allowing more air circulation.
I have use one and have see no increase in yield :( but I am still using it.
I will use it to spread the plant over a 2m sq area and am going to switch to 2 lights (600w) when I switch two 12/12. Hopefully I will see more yield this time.
