light leek. .. . .

ok heres the deal, i have been in flower for bout 2 weeks, i just now noticed i had a pretty bad light leek, i fixed it up good, no leeks as of now but do you think my girls are screwed or what? another question.....2 plants, room is 4 1/2ft x 4ft my lights are 8 32w cfls. 2700k and one hps 150w street light, that enough light ya reckon ?

should be fine light LEAK might make a hermi other than that lights are fine ive seen less

Hes Right can make a hermies or cause it to stunt to try to revegetate but if it hasnt happend then your Ok and dont worry about it Ive had minor light leaks and messed up timers on my current grow the first week and a half and nothing happend and i had a sativa strain wich are very fragile to that so i wouldnt worry bout it. If any thing look for lil bananas or pollen sack and just rip em off,IF ​theres any

watch the plants closely. if you see any male flowers carefully remove them. if they are bad hermies making lots of male flowers you could get some dutchmasters reverse and dutchmasters penetrator and spray them down. it kills male flowers and prevents more from forming. Dont panic though, that is IF you do. you'll probably not. it doesnt hurt to get some dutchmasters and keep it on hand though. its nice to have it around just in case imo.
yes, that should be alright lighting. i'd switch out some of the 2700k cfls to the blue spectrum though.

Yeah thats pretty much it ^, the scale of the light leak you had wont cause too much hassle, it can stress the plants but in your case they most likely wont form hermies but it can definately stunt the growth and even stop them growing. good luck hope they turn out alright

cool thanks yall, all i know it was bad enough to make the plants bend and grow towards the leeks. i do think it might haves slowed my flowering tho

well about the my lights yall reckon thats enough light ?

enough? yes. it will be suffecient but i'd try to get a250w- 400w cool tubed hps in there myself for the deeper penetratrion of the canopy they offer.

id love to have a 15w or 400w but i live in a moble home and the heat builds up fast in here, i have the ac venting into my grow room and it still gets hot even with the small light i have

i had a light leak lucky i realised it after 4 days of flowering if u got regular seeds and not feminized seeds u can stress them and they wont turn hermie av had mine in veg and my friend flowered them far to small so i put them back in veg when they had buds too and the buds just opened up and started to veg again all my stems went purple off the stress but no hermies feminized seeds come off hermie plants fuck feminized seeds get regular
