light i found on website

hi sorry about the second post but didn't get a straight answer on the first post.ok first of all i found a 100 watt hps system online and was wondering if it is good for a small grow. if anybody can answer i would greatly appreciate it alot.

A 100W is very small. IMO you would be wasting your money on that one.

How about a 250W for the same price?

just go to lowes or something and get a 70 watt hps for 40 or 50 dollars.

Lol im a noobie my self. I had picked 1 out of 32 plants, and oh man it was a female. It took me 6 months to grow from seed until harvest. I learned it the hard way.

ok man well check it out. if you are a pro grower im mean like the best growers in the world can get about 1gram of weed per watt of light they use.

so if you are a beginner you will probably get maybe 1/4 gram of weed per watt to maybe 1/2 gram of weed per watt if you are good.


so to be on the modest side you should expect to harvest about 1 ounce per harvest using that setup. so if that is cool with you then go for it. who knows you might get 1 1/2 ounces but no more than that.

you can get a 400watt hps like on ebay for $100 and then you can buy all the items in the kit you posted at you local hardware for less than $60

so if you got that rout u pay the same price and get a 400watt instead of a 100watt

it doesnt drain a lot of power. a 400Watt will drain about as much power as maybe 4 or 5 regular light bulbs. Many peole have like 10 bulbs in thier bathroom if you have like the vanity bulb setup. so all you have to do is unscrew a bulb here and there or just replace them with energy efficient flouresent bulbs

I think once you start growing you will whish you had a more power full light than just a 100watt. I wasted a lot of money buying shitty lights till I upgraded to a 400 watt

That light would work but your not going to get the maximum potential of your plant. If your going to get 100 watt hps light for that much, you might as well spend a lil more cand get a whole lot more. Personally for that many watts, i would just stick with floures.

seems like you want people to say yes so yes that light will definately work but you should look around because there are alot of better deals out there.

I love people that just refuse to listen.
