Light green spots?

Hi,
Im a first time grower, about 3 weeks into a lowryder 2. Its an indoor grow using a soil/perlite mix, single 125watt cfl. Just watered her for the 3rd time since repotting (bout once every 4-6 days. Since rewatering i have noticed a few light green spots at the edges of the top leaves on the plant. I haven't used any nutes as yet. Could it be a defieciency? Or some sort of heat stress from the lights? Not too worried about it yet, but it being my first plant i want to be sure. Iv tried uploading pics but for some reason it never works on my laptop.

Hi, The light green spots can be a lot of things, such as: Lights too close, keeping your soil too wet despite your seemingly reasonable frequency of watering, pH imbalance in the soil that causes nutrient lock out leading to deficiency symptoms, Not enough light/Lumens and in turn not enough wicking of the moisture through the plants, which means moisture is staying in the soil a lot longer, which can lead to the pH dropping (getting acidic)
Based on what you're saying I would not worry too much but I would try to get MORE light on them if you can afford it. 1 measly CFL ain't the plants first choice for lighting eh?...Like wise don't water too frequently, meaning let the plants dry pretty good between waterings, you want to dry the 'root zone' half way out. Get a good moisture meter to help figure how dry your soil really gets between waterings. Hope that helps a bit. Good Luck! Happy gardening! GrowIT!
