light dropped on my plant

the top of it is a little withered, will it survive? what should i do???

Pics would help, but leave it alone -- it should be fine. If you had mature buds up there you probably burned off some of the trichs which is obviously undesirable, but nothing you can do about that now.

it's still vegging. can't get any pics now but the too top leaves are withered and one of the leaves below. should i leave these leaves?

Yup, leave'em... they'll fall off if and when they are ready.

if they are still completely green do they still have a chance to survive?

i have done this too many times they come back fine usually i like to add superthrive to my normal water anytime i cause stress to my plants. I also usually remove affected leaves sounds like you may have inadvertently topped your plant good luck

i actually have some superthrive so i'll make sure to water with a couple drops of it next time.

one of the plants' tops was pretty bad so i actually went ahead and topped it. was this an ok decision?

It should be okay.
