Light distance sun burnt?

Okay I got 1000 watt metal halide for Veg. The plants are about 9 inches tall at this point. When the ladies came into my possession from the previouse grower there were many issues. Mites issue number 1) taken care of with Fox Farm foiler spray. issue 2) nute burn being taken care of with just plain water at ph 7.5 no nutes for a month. The main problem that I did was I foiler sprayed the plants with the light on (opps) about 2 feet away from the plants. the plants got sunburnt quick. So I raised the light and let them recover a bit. Now the light is 1 foot away from the ladies and the cool country air of Michigan is coming right in at my light the ambient temp at the top of the plants is 76 degrees humidifier going nicely leaves are greening is this O.K. is 1 foot alright as long as it stays 75-80 degrees or will it nute burn? im pretty confident I fixed the previous growers issues, guess I wont foiler spray with the light on opps. How long will this mistake set me back on the plant growing process like I said their is green leaves starting again so I think the ladies are all ok but what a shock.

yes as long as the tops are at 75 -80 your fine but there going to grow fast so keep checking making sure the heats not to hot at the tops of your plants because one forgoten day or the old saying ill do it tomorrow might be to late

Thanks just checked them again and a little more burn so I just raised the light too two feet and keeping the window open for the fresh air, got a fan on in the room and keeping the house temperature at a steady 73 degrees I figure the light adds on a degree or two. Once I get it dialed in I think im good to go, but I hate fixing other peoples sick ass plants doesn't anyone in Michigan use ppm meteres ph testers. Seems like everyone in Michigan thinks they know their shit without meters BIG MISTAKE. glad I got a thermometer too. Least mine will blow the dispensary's shit away in October. Going to do 12, 32 gallon pots. At that size it takes two bags fox farms ocean forest and one bag Light warrior ( WARNING IF YOUR DOING THE 2 to 1 mix of the soil like I am read the weight on the bags ocean forest has .5 more soil than light warrior, so to make the mix right u must remove 3.7 gallons of ocean forest to make the two to one ratio correct with light warrior got to love this countries mathematics EUROPE IS EASIER), will cost $600 bucks for the soil Oh well, so anyone know the perlite ratio in a 32 gallon bucket with those specifications? My garage is the perfect greenhouse hinges will move the plywood open and shut for optimum free light after vegging for 3 more months. Oh the strain I got is Alaskan thunderfuck ( they are sick but getting better previous growers fuck ups) , got 2 months to veg in 7 gallon pot making her my mother and then 2 weeks to clone then a month indoors and bam out in the garage in early may, How am I doing do I got it coverd? The only other thing I need is a reverse osmosis machine. But I live in the country I think my well water is pretty good any feedback encouraging.

i was useing rain water for my hydro grow last year almost nothing on the ppm meter then no rain for 3-4 weeks so i used spring water from the farm found it was low in ppms also but little more then rain water so well water should be the same but test it before useing it do to different ground materal in different location should have a low ppm

Its around 220 ppm what im really wondering is should I buy a reverse osmosis machine or just go with a phpen cus I aint on city water.Every dollar I save goes to more medicine till I can make my own. And Thanks
