Hey guys I was wondering if it looks like my light is at a good distance for flower? I don’t want airy buds but I also don’t want hardball nugs either. I want some nice dense but soft buds. Right now I’m at 12 inches. Mars Hydro says to leave this FCE3000 at 8-12 inches at 100 percent in flower so that’s what I went with. I haven’t had any burned leaves yet so the girls must be ok with it. Is 12 inches good or should I raise the light higher?

I’m not familiar with that light but it’s a good place to start ( their recommendation).
Watch the plants. They’ll tell you if it’s too much.
300 W in the 12-16” range should be fine.
How big is that tent?
300 W isn’t ideal for a 4x4.

It’s a 3x3 tent
Two plants, 300W, you’ll definitely grow some nugs but you won’t have a high density problem.
You have some tops praying nice in the pic and some bent tips another poster noticed.
I think you’re gonna need all the power you can get with your setup so I’d work with 12-16” and find the sweet spot.
Maybe start at 16”.
Nice plants.

I’m not sure but from the couple strains I’ve grown nug density seems to be genetic unless you’re way under on the wattage.
