LIGHT CYCLE THAT SENSITIVE???? need to change light/dark time in wk 4 flower OPINONS

due to power consumption i need to sw2itch my plants from on at 9 pm off at 9am to on at 9am off at 9pm. now i figured i could run a 13/13 scedule for 6 days and it would be completly switched. Now is this gonna mess them up?
i didnt think it would be an issue considering we immate everything in its life cycle so something like that should be done with no issues. also if the light cycle is such a sensitive topic with plants shouldnt we immate the natural process more precisely(sp) as in start losing 3 min (shot in the dark) of light from the first switch or also apply to veg period to? has anyone every experment with something like this? really interested in others opinons on this topic.

alright, here's what you do. they are now going on at 9 pm and off at 9 am, correct? during your next 9 pm light turn on time, dont, leave it in the dark till 9 am, then start the on period and turn off at 9 pm and then just repeat the new on/off cycle. voila, no interrupting the dark period and the plant never has a lights off period of under 12 hrs. the 2 things to worry about.

the only negative is your plant loses 12 hrs of collecting light to make energy because you skip a lights on period. which doesnt really matter in the long run(or the short run for that matter.)
