light cycle help..?

Hey. Im in 4th week of veg cycle - lights for the last 3 weeks have been set to 22hrs and 2hrs to cool off the lamps (first week it was 24hrs). Last weekend I needed to switch off the lamps for a bit longer period of time 18/6. And already after those 2 days they started flowering (few hairs appeared). Is that possible so fast? Never tried 22h/2h cycle before.

Okay, I set back to a previous light cycle for now, but I have a couple of questions.

What will happen when I will try to flower them at 12/12 cycle later on? Is it going to be enough light? Should I change the light cycle gradually (like - 2-3 days 18/6, then after 2-3 days 14/10, and only then 12/12)?

Some strains show preflowers being in veg. That's normal. I would switch to 12/12 now. You do't have to change the light gradually.

I got blue mystic (nirvana) if that plays any role. The thing is I don`t want to switch to 12/12 right now, cause I cloned them yesterday in order to determine sex. I hope clones don`t go into flowering right now, because of the motherplants (it happened the last time, but with different strain).

okay, it seems that the cloning went smooth and the clones are picking up speed. got another question -

I was running 22/2 hr cycle with fluorescent bulbs during veg and now I put them [the motherplants] in flowering under combined light of MH (150W) and HPS (250w) bulbs. I have set the timer to 10/14 and I got a question - which is best of these cycles for flowering - 10/14; 11/13; 12/12?

P.S. They have been in 10/14 cycle for 5 days now. What steps should I take if I want/need to change to 12/12 cycle for example? Should I change the cycle timing gradually (by minutes everyday) or just switch to the other cycle right away?
