Light burn? Heat stress? Root problems?

I was asking because Earth Dust recommended organic pH crystals. I'm currently using General Hydroponics pH Down. Advertised as a food grade phosphoric acid. Haven't read anything negative about it, not yet anyways..lol. Have a buddy who won't share his bottle that he claims is agriculture grade pH adjuster. Swear to God when he uses it he turns the label away from me...I'm like really... you for real? lmfao... anyways, just thought there might be something there. Well, dam, hope you figure it out, keep us posted please.
not sure what those ph crystals are but I can just assume it works better than adding acid as a ph up/down. That’s sad, everyone online is always so attentive to help a stranger out to avoid their same mistakes, while you still call someone “buddy” and they won’t give any advice or recommendations, which don’t cost them a cent lol thanks, will do. Winter is coming so that rh will be higher soon.

I don't fully understand it myself, citric acid vs phosphoric acid ... o_O I know some pH crystals are citric acid based.. but like you I can get in the way, of a lot of things, with these little what if and what nots... :D No this "buddy" is someone close to me, not online ...so yeah....
I might try this next grow..

I’m also using GH PH adjusters and never had a problem, are you experiencing problems that’s why you want to switch it up? Or because you are going to grow differently using dry amendments only? What they recommend being less harsh I guess but I think you’ll be fine with GH in any growing condition

Only per Earth Dust recommendation, and your probably right.

For my Hempy runs ( current ) … citric acid works well in my drain to waste. Alaska PH DOWN was my “ retail “ buy but it has become scarce. So buying a bag of pure citric acid powder ( 2-5-10 pound bags ) work the same.

Since I feed everyday like coco , ph drift doesn’t really happen. However in a bigger Rez it will drift and would be something to factor .

Not a big fan GH ph down ( phosphoric acid ) for ph control.

specifically indicates for hydroponic systems, you think it’ll be fine for dirt or coco? I’m asking for week4@ I personally never experienced anything wrong with GH, at least not that I know of. What line of nutrients do you use ? I’ve grown really good stuff with AN but it’s the only line I’ve tried.
