Is this light burn or nutrients related?
Mars ts1000 at 40" away, using advanced Nutrients on 1/4 strength as recommend. In a RDWC system, water temp 67. This is one of the clones from the first set. The second set is smaller and starting to do the same thing. There is always good new growth from the middle but I keep losing fan leafs 2 at a time. Please help!

Not light burn i don't think. How often you changing nutes? How big is the whole system?

Water change once a week, 20 gallon system. Could it be calmag deficiency?

Advanced nutrients micro, grow and bloom at seedling strength. I've also tried upping the nutrients to the small plant amount, that didn't help.

Once the leaves are like that they will never recover. As as your new growth is ok... your all good.

Roots look good to me???
PH is 6.1
Water temp 67.8
Nuts at 400-500 ppm

Ya I read they wouldnt recover, my concern is that I keep losing every set of fan leaves 2 at a time.

Burnt tips could indicate overfeeding also.
I'm using advanced nutrients micro, bloom and grow. Feed at the small plant amount (1/2 strength) the first week, started to see the yellowing and when I did a water change since then they have been on seeding amount (1/4 strength). Should I try something different?

Using ro water?

I'm guessing you are using ro since it's dwc.... have you added any cal mag?
I am using to water, I have not added calmag, I just started to think about it being that. I did look up my nutrients and they state this...
The company Advanced Nutrients stated that the cal mag in parts a and b are sufficient for ro water and adding calmag is not necessary.
Does this mean I just need to up the nutrients in general since I'm on the 1)4 strength?

Honestly I've never used that line of nutrients, but I've used gh flora trio micro and bloom(Lucas formula) , and ppms were always around 1300 on the 7 scale. Do you let your ph drift thru the ph ranges of 5.5-6.2? Or do you keep it stable?

It does drift though from 5.5 - 6.5
Ppm scale for these nuts is seedlings 400-500, small plants 800-1200, mature plant 1300-1800
