If you need to keep light contained in your growroom without slowing down airflow, check this out.

They are foam gutter filters. Since they have a triangle shape, you can easily stick two of them together with caulk, and make a rectangle shaped light filter. They are easy to cut to length. They are also very easy to wash out with a garden hose.
I use it so that I can get airflow into the room, without ANY light pollution in the dark room. The light room shares a common wall with the dark room, though there is 1600 watts on the other side of the darkroom wall, no light gets past the filters into the dark room. Since I use only one inline fan for both rooms, airflow must pass from the dark room through the light room, and is then sucked outside and pushed through carbon filters.. There is a channel between the two rooms, and these light filters keep the airflow moving without any light getting back intothe dark room.
I use a 24hr on light cycle in a flowering room, then move the girls to a dark room every 12 hours to get more out of the space available.
