hello
I'm growing 2 feminised plants and am now at 10 days into flowering.
a few minutes ago accidentely made the room light flash for literally half a second, at approx 4 hours after they "went to bed".note that it the wasn't the closet light that went on, but the room light that the closet is in went on. (for half a second).

this is a good description above
the light flicked for half a second and I'm afraid it would cause it to grow hermie. again, this happend 4 hours in the dark half of the 12/12.
I reckon the light could've been reflecte on the white wall infront of the open closet.

can anyone tell me if this is going to be bad for my plants? will it turn hermie?

I'd really appreciate a shed of light on the matter (pun intended)

thank you

p.s. I tried searching all over the internet for a similar mishap but couldn't find any

the reason no one has mentioned it is probably because it's not really worth concern, I actually have a car blind (one of those things to keep the sun heat off the seats, hanging in my doorway to prevent such occurrences from taking place in the first place. I doubt a couple of seconds or even minutes is really going to be enough to reset the plants, they don't respond like an animal like in a split second.

Yea, I'd be more worried about your bulb if you were using hid's. A light flash isnt going to do anything to your plants. Folks take pictures of plants with the lights out. No issues.
