Life of a Mutant

I attempted to germinate a six-pack of outdoor breeders floor mix freebies and two came up. One is doing great and sits in a SIP. The other - well, check out the pics.

The picture with two small ones is a side-by-side of the siblings. But this thread isn't really about the normal one.

The other two pics are of the same mutant plant. At first I thought I'd just ditch it, but I have so many other garden plants it just got the same care. Then it started to sprout some more normal growth. It's like the big mutant leaf is the main cola, which effectively made it so the plant topped itself.

The new growth for both plants is purple, and then it greens up. I'm very curious what I have here.

We'll see.

Lettuce for smoking. Oregano is next.

I bet you've all seen a mutant. What happens, do they split themselves apart later?

Stupid thread.
It's basicly doing what a clone does if you take it from a flowering plant. I think it will grow fine, the question will be is the plant stable being from seed. Will it herm on you in flower
