hello peeps...

so i have a Barney's Farm Liberty Haze flowering in her 63rd day.... i love this plant is beautiful, i topped her by accident (dropped a bottle and snapped her main stem) but man ive never seen a plant so branchy in my entire life!...

shes super frosty and the buds are ROCK HARD, compared to my other strains that had relatively dense buds.... anyway Barney's farm says it takes 60-65 days.

most of the calyxes seem swollen and some orange hairs are starting to show but she still has lots and lots of white hairs... i havent checked the trichomes under the microscope because i wanted to try to "play it by ear" and i wanted to see what happens when you judge the harvest time by the calyx and pistils...

anyway..... some city workers need to come instal some shit in my house and they will be kinda close to the room so for obvious reasons i want to make sure shes not there.... i think they want to come within the next week or so..... .

if the pistils are pretty white but the trichomes are starting to get milky woudl it be ok to cut her earlier?

you will be ok. it would be optimal to have most of the trichs nice and milky, but if no choice, take her down...

before i chopped my last plant, i gave her, her last watering, and put her in complete dark for 72 hours after the watering.. then chopped her down ...

maybe if you want some extra time with her, you can give that idea a try out..

Pistils are absolutely insignificant regarding harvest time!!! Look...Here are two pictures to prove it.

Somango, all orange pistils, 3 weeks early 95% clear, 5% cloudy

Then a Holy Grail pheno, mostly white pistils, but fully ripe!
80% cloudy, 10 % amber, 10 % clear.

It's all strain dependent...
