Racism is bullshit, and job discrimination should never happen, but I think that this should be an exception to the rule. You don't force people to listen to stories about their people being killed and not expect something like this.
Shit happens, and it is very sad for the people that this affects. But you should read it again. The exception to the rule is not allowing people to have a job based on race, if it deals with listening to people talk about killing your race.

other than going back to the inquisition, somebody tell me all the horrible things that christians/jews/buddists are doing around the world? unless setting up medical centers for diseased and starving people in africa is bad. or maybe the salvation army and there evil bell ringing zealots in front of walmart...they might be evil. maybe the local foodbanks in my area set up by many churches, yep, thats the evil right there. oh, and dont forget the shriners, what an evil bunch of fucks they are? everry year around here i see some religious bastard loading up turkeys in his pickup to distribute to the needy....bastard. all these bible thumpers meeting in groups every sunday or saturday. these zealots need to be stopped.

First of all, I don't think zealot christians are ANYWHERE near as bad as zealot muslims.
But, there have been a few anti-abortion christians who have killed. And, for catholics to preach against the use of condoms to people in countries where aids is ridiculously out of control is very irresponsible.
Luckily, christian zealots seem to be satisfied to just use their book of fairy tales to justify bigotry and hatred... and not commit mass killings via suicide bombing. Still, zealot christians are very annoying, and sometimes dangerous.

I'm not really keeping up with this story but I have heard some things....like the shooter was to be deployed to Iraq very soon and he didnt want to go , he didnt like the idea that he might be fighting against his muslim brethren , yet it appears he didnt mind killing 13 at this point of his military comrades , not to mention he was quoted as yelling "allah Akbar" before he went on his killing spree.
Of course I dont know how much of this is true because I heard it through the mainstream media.

There are lots of people that kill in the name of christianity. But they are crazy here, they say things like god told me to kill them, we know they are loons, its just that we are familiar enough with christians to know the difference. We just don't know the other religions as well here.
But as soon as some other crazy ass group of religious freaks do it and blow themselves up because they make more of a splash doesn't mean that it is the religion if it the fact they are nuts. Nuts is nuts, it has nothing to do with religion. It just doesn't help them any.

I agree with you on the ridiculousness of having a Muslim listen to stories of soldiers killing other Muslims.
However, it is a major mistake to compare religious nuts of any religion to those in Islam. No other religion has the track record of Islam when it comes to acts of terror (there have been thousands) and no other religion promotes violence and hatred of people of other faiths in their scripture. As far as groups such as the KKK, you need to understand that these people do bad things in spite of the teachings of their religion and not in keeping with it. And don't believe that the Qur'an does not promote violence and hatred because it demonstrably does.
