Let’s try this again.

Greetings everyone. My first grow crashed and burned badly, so were on to round 2. My first grow was plagued by heat and humidity as I’m growing in a metal shed attached to my carport. It’s going to be in a 2x4 tent. I have upgrade the soil to FF Happy Frog. They will be in 2.5g pots. I’m using bagseeds. Light is a Crx Sunny 240w qb led. I will be sealing off the area the tent is in and insulating area from the outside. I have a dehumidifier and I need be I’ll be getting a small AC unit. 190 CFM fan with 4in ducting. Also two regular desk fans in the tent for circulation. I use rain water for hydration. Seeds will be going right into 2.5g pots and stay there more than likely. If I get that far this time, I’m thinking I will try to top once and LST. Maybe just one or the other. I’ll start a journal once everything is up. As always any constructive advice is appreciated. Thanks!

How many plants? I’d say grab another light for that space since you will have a/c and necessary cooling.

4 plants total. What would you suggest. My budget is stretched a bit after the first grow failed.

Well that’s depends on your budget, I’m a proponent of saving money so I’d say wait until you can/after harvest. I’d just recommend flowering the plants earlier than later, don’t want them getting too tall and the plants in the center getting the light. Cause 2 plants with good veg time in that tent is better than 4 in my opinion.

Try to find a second hand 315 cmh setup that would kill the space and if you mount the ballast remotely will take a decent amount of heat out of the space. My first big tent was a 2x 4 as well and in there I was running a quantum bad boy T5 and it worked fine

For this grow I’m probably going to roll with what I have now. Realistically I’m planting 4 only plan on ending up with 2 with potential males and diseases, etc. We shall see how this one goes.

Just a heads up. Ran into some issues I attribute to rain water. Under l.e.d. using rainwater I ran into a cal/mag issue. Didnt realize how much calcium my tap was bringing to the party until i cut it out in an attempt to keep chlorine off my bennies. Maybe in moderation or with cal/mag it would be doable. Good Luck
