Lets this be? Or act quickly?

Hi this has shown up over the past couple days, to me looks like a kind of Mold, it’s obviously ontop of the medium but nothing on the plants, I used a microbe anti bacteria supplement sort of thing when I first planted, guy at the grow store recommended it so I gave it a go, he did say that a whiteish Mold looking stuff would start to grow ontop of the coco but it’s nothing to worry about, this looks more grey than white and they where planted 3. Weeks ago so thought I’d it was going to happen it would have happened a little earlier any ideas lads appreciate any reply’s (I will get the name of the supplement i used soon)

it's penacilium (sp?) you can cut back on the water, spray it with bicarb of soda , that should get rid iof it
So just mix some baking soda with water and spray effected areas? I’ve been watering most days because I read that coco should be kept moist all the time ? Am I wrong should I be letting the tops dry off a little between watering

diatomatious earth smothers things, its realy fine powder, it also stops gnats n bugs. but as you have to water every day or so, then i wouldent use it, or you will be having to replace it where the water disturbs it. try the bicarb , that should be enough

What microbe product did you use?

A little hyrogen peroxide spray would kill it too.
I have actually noticed that the stuff being broke down by the mold or fungus what ever it may be is the neem granules I added to my coco when I transplanted a couple days before the mild showed up, noticed it growing in lumps so I picked it up and yea it was the neem that was sitting on the surface should I leave it to let it break down ?

Its not going to hurt your plant more than likely but just spray it to be sure
