bidzbay is cheeeeeap! I've got jc2, vortex, spacebomb, astro queen, juggernaut, deep purple, and qurkle...they're all vegging right now except the querkle-they're taking their time getting back out of flowering, but is insanely frosted with big calyxes...they're too outta' control for anything but clone mothers at this point! the j.c.2 looks like a real winner(big) for such a high sativa ratio. you migh as well get the vortex and s.b.- if it's the best things he's smoked, I'll take his word on it! I mean.. I- don't know all the big names in the biz as peers.

I thought I'd kick this in - Subcool doesn't give free seeds with his orders but some of his seeds have two viable sprouts! I germed 3 seeds each of JTR, PB & JB and got 4 sprouts each of JTR and PB. I transplanted to another cup and one is growing normally and the other is small with slow growth but it looks healthy.

Germination Ratio:

11 plants / 9 seeds = 1.22 plants per seed.

LOL!

really excited about the j.c.2's....the mrs. clean is in my top 5 ever!-reeeks of lemon cleaner...it makes you feel a lot lighter and more alert...major chi awareness. the other pheno, I call "vanilla puddin' "...it looks like a light green jamaican- high sativa ratio...probably 90+ %....smells exactly like the sweetest "bai-niyya"dulce de leche! AYA YA IIII!!!! it gushes, and it's only in its 3rd wk. of flower!

The prices are so ridiculously reasonable that I had to pick up all 3 - I'd be wondering what the missing strain was like, it'd be torture.

So - Pandora's Box, Jillybean and Jack the Ripper for $110 USD.

I feel like a thief.

What website was this off of for that price? Ive been eyeballing jillybean (seen some dope pics in the latest skunk issue) and the other two strains sound DOPE

However they have stopped selling the beans in 5 packs. So you will not be able to get those 3 strains for $110. That was also a let down to me. But I can understand why they that. I am also very interested in several of subcools strains.....he seems like a real straight forward guy, opinionated yet with the experience to back it up. He knows whats up when it comes to the healing of a people through cannabis. If he sold his seeds for an enormous prices (like some that I have seen going for 25-30$ Per seed) Yes those guys are the orginalz in Europe, but they have turned mj in to a business. Sub is probably, making a decent cut and living very comfortably. But he is doing so through a solid fan base that keeps coming back to fair prices and great smoke. Not just "brand names" and "hype". No matter what those guyz have is never worth 25-30$ per seed. Cannabis is for the people, for med patients and for people who just need that "fuk-it" in their system so they can deal with this life or just to laugh your ass off and get the munchies. So thanks sub for your fair treatment of potheadz everywhere.

Also there are 2 or 3 different phenos that you can get from some subs gear. You might def want to grow out a 10 pack and see what you come up with in the end. I think jillybean has a Pink Lemonade pheno, and some have other different colors. . Some might have a lot more C-99 influence some might have more JTR.

Just a side note I have not grown any subs' gear yet. I have smoked it before and it was just what I needed. I am going to wait a few months so that I can grow an entire sub crop. I have been on breedbay forum for a little while now and they love subs gear. Jillybean is looking like a definite for my first sub crop also Pandora's box comes highly recommended. Jacks Cleaner2 x Querkle has a grape candy pheno. So its all in what your looking for.

Thanks JG!

I'd love to read a review on any of Subcool's strains you've tried. I'm making a review template to use for categorizing medical strains, if you get a chance I'd appreciated if you would review one of Subcool's strains using the template as a guide. Make any changes to the template you think would help people write a better review, to get the info drawn out that patients need to choose a strain.

thanks!

Somewhere I saw where Subcool uses flower 6light/18dark for business or personal grows with geat success and I can't find it? I saw the same on Elite genetics as well but I am not searching his web site for the link. Can someone help me with this note/comment? I started a thread in the Adv. cult. section and want experienced thoughts on ths subject...Thanks

It was something crazy like..........he ran 6 1k watt lights for 6 hours a day because they would put out x amount of lumens per hour which he was more effective than running a lesser number (say 3) 1k for 12 hours plus he said it cut down on electricity use.

This is a great thread ... sharing the knowledge and experience with TGA Subcool gear. I was attracted to Subcool's stuff because I luved his photography initially, and then his breeding upon further research and resading. I have packages of Vortex, Chernobyl, Agent Orange, MissMystery, and DairyQueen. I only have room for maturing out 4-6 plants at the most. My current grow has three males (Chernobyl, Vortex, Agent Orange) and two females (MissMystery and DairyQueen) - the males have been placed outdoors miles away. I am very excited about the two females. and I will be collecting pollen sacs from the males (I also have a male BlackDomina from SensiSeeds).

That Agent Orange smells and tastes just like oranges and cream. So does the Jillybean.

Sub is all about color and flavor.

Jack The Ripper will tear your head off.

i've never grown any of his gear, but have heard that for the most part, it's all show and no grow, from very experienced growers. he's got some nice cameras though... he was instrumental in getting bog started in breeding.

"he was instrumental in getting bog started in breeding"

Does anyone know how old Subcool and BOG are? I always took Bushy Old Grow as bushy and old, and Subcool as a tatooed counter culture hippie hipster.

Thanks Silky, interesting. Do you know any of the backstory?

i never thought of that, but their breeding habits are the same, they both use name genetics to cross and they have a flair for exotic names as well as A1 picture taking skills. But i never grew any of their stuff.i have grown stuff they have used in their crosses of other breeders.it is a small world isnt it.

I am finishing up a Jillybean grow. I would have to say 100% as advertised. I also started a 3D and Chernobyl grow about 5 days ago. The pictures of his gear do not lie.:weed:
