Let's talk serious SCROG

Please check my math. 23" x 75% (total screen fill) = 17.25" + 8" (under the screen) = 25.25" (to start flowering)

I will using LST in veg using an S type shape as to ready the plant for the U SCROG setup. The S shaped LST will be placed directly under my U shape SCROG for easy transfer.

Will be vegged in ebb and flow, then transferred to HP aero.

Your setup sounds good, 8 plants under a 19 sqft shouldn't need much pre-vegging, LSTing will be nice to prep multiple branches but 1 plant per 2 sqft is more than enough, you may even get crowding.

How tall do you recommend?

A lil update on my upcoming grow, I have my grow area all ready to go, ventialtion configured (am an HVACR Tech.) I fianally got my beans today, i picked the worse possible time of the year to order (aniversary of 9/11) so they got held up in NY processing. Have one Sensi Seeds Shiva Skunk in a rockwool seed cube with water nearly covering it for the first 24, then I will remove most of the water, i prefer not to handle them so i do the water soak with them in the rockwool already. Sittng on my pc box at about 85 degrees.
If you remeber one of my previous posts, i had an issue w/ my hydro shop order, still not resolved so if the seed pops and i am ready for it to go into DWC, i will go downtown and grab a netpot bucket lid.

Looking forward to growing this NL#5 x Skunk #1. THen I will be back to my fave Ak-47. hehe

they r still screwing around with your order? Thats one thing i can say about the two shops i go to. They really will bend over backwards for u. I think they have to with the 75% mark up.

I just got an email from the shop they are gonna overnight the parts to me. Said the shippment was retunred to them all beat up, in other words they forgot to ship it, lol.

My room is'nt gonna be a jewel like yours. I have 180 buks in it atm. Not counting my light. I just moved into this place and had to keep it stealth. the only room i could use was the laundry area and being a rental i couldnt make another air intake showing up on the outside, so i used the existing dryer exhaust as my intake, and deverted the dryer exhaust to the attic along with my "room" exhuast. Blk and white poly as wall coverings. It will get me thru this grow and i plan on making additions as i go.

What part do you mean? how tall from the screen? floor?

If you mean how tall from the screen, start to flower at around 4-7 inches depending on the amount of room you have, I have started 12/12 with branches no more than an inch above the screen and it turned out nicely.

Wish my local shop only had a 75% markup, they're more around 100-120% over online retailers.

Sorry again for crummy pics, between my kodak digital "pos" and the magnetic ballast making bummer "trails" nothing comes out well, might be time to get a pro photographer in here to shoot up the place!.

Ok, I'm going to show off a bit because I got my new tent and set it up with 2 Violator kush plants.

I have yet to install the Ventilation but it isn't needed at the moment. The tent is in the same room as my current closet grow so the air temp and humidity is where I need it to be.

The tent is made by "Lighthouse hydro". I shopped around for almost 2 months before I decided on they're tent and I couldn't be more happy. The tent was 129.99 with free shipping, half the price of the leading competitor (Secret Jardin) and almost a carbon copy if they're DR120 minus a roof port, I was willing to sacrifice one vent hole when the tent already has 4x6in and 2x4in ports. For a 4x4 that is more than enough.

The plan for this tent is a 3.8x3.8 screen with a slight 4 side curve, I wont be doing another high sided U shaped scrog because my 600w hood won't really allow it but I do plan on trying a few things o maximize yield in ,what I still consider, a small space.

Anyway here's the pics.

I'm liking that tent. It looks like it opens on the left side also?

Yes, both sides have large access panels, not as light tight as i would like but small modifications can fix that.

Lol, no, the florescent lights take better pics than my magnetic ballast but as you can see the pics are still blurry. I'm really amazed that a 100 dollar camera made by Kodak has no focus feature, might be time to write a letter lol.

try not pressing the shutter button all the way down like hold it half way and it should focus pretty much every camera ive had even my smartphone camera focuses like that....

I unfortunately have tried that, the camera is a "Kodak Play Touch". Its focus feature is a "Smart focus" which means it only focuses on faces... ya I know, horrible. The truth is I should have returned it when I realized how much garbage it really was but I didn't and before I can post real decent pics I have to spend some money on a real camera... /sigh. Spending more money on Marijuana related stuff (yes, i realize I just called a camera "Marijuana related stuff").

Maybe I will just start posting videos.

I picked up an Olympus Pen last year & the macro it can take is phenomenal and battery life is very good.
