Let’s grow some top shelf herb. Maybe some mids too!

Well, was able to get about half of them transplanted before calling it a night. I’ll finish getting seedlings in 1 gallon pots tomorrow, and other mothers in larger pots. Lots of work. The plants on the right side will go into the flower room as soon as they get used to their new shoes. CMH kills t5 in all ways584A1210-402A-4F6A-B29C-C2F4245AF9B1.jpeg

Did some much needed work in the garage today. Tied in a circuit for the veg area, moved my overhead lighting to a configuration that works with the tents and work space a little better. Put some shelves up and got my reservoir area figured out, set up a bar height table for the cloning/seedling tent, the storage below will be extremely valuable with my limited space. Finally have a spot for the mini-fridge to live permanently, was getting really tired of moving it around.

Well shit! Bumped into one of my cmh hoods while watering and no bulb won’t fire. After many cool down and atempts I’m calling it, swapped it out for a t5 I had on hand and moved a few plants around. I’ll get through this, but was really enjoying the 2cmh in there. D0ACC6B1-5F2D-49AA-BE0B-3C245BD54880.jpeg

Moms, it’s hard not to get in the local clone game for spring. It’s absolutely amazing, I’m backed up pretty much through June without even trying. I’ve picked up things that I may grow, but for the most part any clones have been geared towards outdoor for others. I’ll keep 2 nice cuts for myself, but the rest will be from seed for my outdoor garden.

Meanwhile the seedlings all got a little pinch off the top, when they branch out, I’ll take 2 cuts of each, sex 1 and the other will be the new mom/dad. and find homes for these seed moms, a few of them may actually be awesome outdoor but this hunt is geared toward indoor production. Still recovering from overwatering right before the power outage, but I see improvement daily.

Things I have going at various stages for various reasons, about 3/4 will be gone after clone season. Have 3 projects in line, so I’m stuck with quite a few still. It was really a wake up call to write this all down.

A very handy addition to the garden. I actually have all the parts to run a line to my reservoir, complete with a float valve. But my time in the garden has been completely occupied by IPM and cloning. so a collapsible hose on my washing machine will have to do for now, my back hurts and I’m tired of moving water from the sink.

Some of my moms were getting too big, so I hacked them up and made some cuts and got some fresh cuts in better soil for new moms of most of the things I’ve recently picked up. Seedlings are still trying to grow out of their overwatering and power outage fiasco, with the exception of a few all are doing fairly well.

a few weeks ago I bumped one of my cmh fixtures and it wouldn’t fire, I swapped it out for a spider farmer sf1000. I was at the point of $80 bulb, or $150 led running 1/3 the watts. So far I’m fairly impressed with it for veg, and I’ll probably swap out the other cmh for something running on a 240w driver. It’s actually weird to see some of the plants on the border grow toward the little led, but it’s enough to tell me it’s a great solution for veg, and that’s where I really want the power savings.

Flowering plants are in straight coco, no perlite. Had 2 days of no uptake, they hadn’t been flushed since being in their pots and I definitely knew it was time. The plants are generally happy, but I get concerned if they don’t drink. Runoff with plain 6.2 water was 1.7 EC and 6.4. Overall not bad, I’ve had worse runoff on a flush. That is the difference between mids and heady stash, knowing your issues before they present themselves as sick plants. All are welcome here and please comment freely, may your garden be blessed!F74D5DEC-75B0-49B4-A73F-301D00450930.jpeg

Edit, I added perlite to the newer additions
