Yeah scared to death i tried to LST her a bit and split a man stalk in 2 had to tape it back together to heal lol, I did raise light a bit but know i need to do this.

This is why I went vertical; trellis AND accessibility!

its a risk to have a pollen producer even on the same property

I did end up with some seed in my grow room but luckily it was not enough to be an issue , maybe 2 seeds in an ounce

but it could have easily been worse and possibly a nightmare

I think in my future I might do it 1x per year with a couple late small outdoor plants

Hey i know you were looking for a plant to cross with those you should look into this chocolate cream pheno im growing her node spacing is sick very very tight shes gonna make some super dense colas.IMG_1947.JPG IMG_1949.JPG IMG_1951.JPG

everythings going good

the nugs aren't as plump as last run

the N started running out a couple weeks ago and ive been chasing the yellowing with guano but trying not to use salt fertilizers

but it all looks good, just a little more yellowed than id like to see at week 6, I feel the N def came at a bad time and cost me some growth

next time im going to add feather meal to my amendments to see if I can get the N to stick around to the finish

well
I haven't grown is soil using std fertilizers so I cant compare between soil with salt fertilizer vs organic soil with soil amendments

but I can compare organic soil to rockwool hydro drain to waste or grow rocks

I got a higher yield with the organic soil, but to be fair

in hydro I grew under a 4x4 foot print/tray per 1 light and in soil im not restricted by the trays so I spread the plants apart so 1 light covered a little more than a 5x5 area

that and a very long veg with big ass pots is why my yield went up, in fairness id need to grow my hydro in a 5x5 space to get a true comparison ...

the soil also has a very slight advantage in flavor and potency over the hydro but its not enough to make me say I wont grow hydro

so I just got a new light to replace a 400 watt veg t5 fixture

its a DIY LED cob form @CobKits .com for $340 +/- with all the parts and pieces included and I spent another $40 at lowes to build the frame and hangers and whatever

I got the 240 watts driver with 4 1825 cobs @60 watts max per cob and theryre rated for up to like 350 watts or something

I should get close to 60% efficiency and cut my power/wattage usage in half
