Ok, so I have a 90 legal plant limit(Cali baby!) and I want to do this grow as efficiently as possible. I have about 2 acres, 2 clean storage sheds and a house to grow in.

I can to have this go outdoors so I can keep electrity and a minimum. I only plan on having 2 digital 1000w HPS systems for the primo buds. My question is, how would you approach this grow? And mainly, what strain would you grow? I want a high yeilding commercial strain but also fairly potent.

Sonoma County?

I thought it was 99. And does that really mean you can grow 99 full size outdoor plants? Shit you could pay for a house there in full with cash after a crop like that.

I would approach it with 20,000 watts of lights minimum so you can grow all year, and work the timing of the crops out to where you have 99 suckers vegged as big as possible before the start of the next summer season. Put 90whatever 8' tall plants out there while everyone else sticks baby clones and seeds in the ground. Also use slightly reflective sheets of something on the ground around the outdoor plants if you want to make the biggest monsters you can. The last monster plant pic I saw they used some of those 4x8 or some such size metal roofing panels all around the plant on the ground to give it even more light than normal and it apparently made a big difference. (or something did) That doesn't mean throw down mylar, or panda film, or perfect flat white painted panels. Those would be so reflective you'd just burn the plant easily on a sunny day. I said slightly reflective.

There is no reason whatsoever to only have 2kw of lights, you need a shitload more. Don't worry about the electricity money grows on trees and trees take a lot of 1kw lights.

Haha yea thats the plan, but for now they are going outside. The real question is what commercial strain should i grow thats extremely potent and gets huge

Oregonmeds has some great advice - pretty sure though that he is right about the limit - its 99 indoors but if it's anythign like oakland its much much less outdoors.

That would really be something though if 99 outdoor plants were legal... Oh man you'd need so many people to help you harvest and manicure all that.

And I'm not as up on strains as many others but mango was/is supposedly one of the biggest if not the biggest producers of all time, not that I've ever seen grown or tasted it.

I suppose this question is quite off-topic though i'm wondering whether or not he needs a license to grow these or is it entirely legal for any citizen in California to grow that amount of plants?
