So I won’t mess it up if I give it a break for a few hours off schedule?Either way is fine
To survive yes but if they old enough or cuttings anything under 16 can trigger them especially very photo sensitive strains most things might be ok with say 14 hours lights on but not everything man so its worth remembering this case it ever happens to youAs long as the plants are getting more than 12 hours of light a day you will be fine. More light just means the plants have more time to grow.
Just resume 18/6 tomorrow its fine the only worry with light schedule mix ups in veg is if they receive not enough light and start blooming earlier than u want mate u can veg on 24 hours light many people do just costs more power is all plus i do feel they benefit from having some lights off like us plants need periods of darkness plus they use it in the second stage of photosynthesis in carbon fixation/the calvin cycle so yeah kinda makes sense if you think about itDo I turn it off or just let it stay on until next scheduled out?
Thanks for the info! I guess outdoors I have had flowers begin to form before it's 12/12 now that you mention it. Hmmm.. maybe certian strains do,, I don't see that much gain in the strains/crosses to validate running the lights 6 hours longerI run mine 24/0 in veg. I used to be 18/6, but with 24/0 you can see the difference in the growth.
I have setup CCTV in my tent, with night vision. I have it upload a snapshot, every hour. If you load the pictures in a slide show you can physically see them grow, if they have a period of dark you can see them slow down.Hmmm.. maybe certian strains do,, I don't see that much gain in the strains/crosses to validate running the lights 6 hours longer
Especially so called semi autos be it say like mighty might guerillas gold lines royal dane etc also some landrace stuff like Moroccan Crimean and middle eastern stuff like Lebanese Sinai etc there photos but extremely photo sensitive vs actually true autos are day neutral plants ie blooming response to age rather than light /dark scheduleThanks for the info! Should get less stem elongation on that schedule.I have setup CCTV in my tent, with night vision. I have it upload a snapshot, every hour. If you load the pictures in a slide show you can physically see them grow, if they have a period of dark you can see them slow down.
It is the first time I have run them 24/0 and I am so impressed with difference I won't be going back to 18/6.
I am using a Raspberry Pi Model B with a couple of cheap USB Web Cams hooked up to it. It uses a CronJob to take the pics and copies them to my home server.Should get less stem elongation on that schedule.
What system you using to record and take a pic every hour.
That's something I always fancied doing
Google knows all anyway, don't piss G off or all hell is gonna break loose!I am using a Raspberry Pi Model B with a couple of cheap USB Web Cams hooked up to it. It uses a CronJob to take the pics and copies them to my home server.
I was using a Energiser smart camera via Google Assistant and Google Photos, but I share my Google Cloud Storage with my wife and kids and didn't want my family photos getting accidentally mixed up with weed stuff.
