Left door open during dark period!

So.... My plants are in their very own room in my house across from my room, The HPS light turns off at 6PM and today I was just so tired I fell asleep early and left the door open when the light was on. I didn't wake up until about 10 or 10:30 and walked out and the door was still open, it gets dark here around 7PM and the only light that was getting into the room after the sun went down was the light from my monitor so it was no brighter in there than an average night with the moon out.

The plants are in their 3rd week of flowering, do you think that amount of time stressed them out that much with that little bit of light?

I am guessing it isn't going to affect them but I am unsure

Unless the irregularity of your light pattern is reoccurring IMO I don't think you have anything to worry about. However I have read that light from a street lamp can fuck up the flower cycle of an out door plant so.. and I know your thinking, 'out door plant, street lamp?' Makes no sense but I read it some where... Just once ain't going to send it back to veg or anything like that. Might slow growth for a day or two but I'm just talkin out my ass here.. I think you'll be ok...

Addition :
My cycle for veg is on at 5am off at 9pm
flower, on at 8 off at 8 that way it's somewhat close to the same hours that Im awake and around my ladies.. My bedtime is their bedtime, that way I can rememeber to "tuck them in" lol.. either way... GL

I think most outdoor street lamps are HIDs, so it's not a complete shocker there.

good, I was just researching this too. I have a few at various flower stages, 1 week, 4 week & 7 weeks. Inside of my flower room I have a separate veg tent that I always close up before lights out in flower room. Well today, I forgot as I had to run out the door early for work. Got home to check on them to see the light from veg tent lighting up my whole flower room. OOPS. Closed them down and came on RIU to check it out...I feel better too.

Shit happens and as long as its not repetitive your grow will be fine .. Your not the only one to do this as seen , I can count a few mistakes like this through my years ... Even worse when its closed up and the light sends temps into the triple digits ......

Yup, "Shit the lights still on, the temps are up!"... I've had a few occasions like this as well, as long as it's a rarity it's no problem...
(But that's not to be blasé about it! ;))

I know im 10 years late but, It’s funny you bring the street lights up bc back in the day when i was like 10 years old my older brother and his friends used to climb up and steal the bulbs and had a homemade growlight made from a streetlight. It’s crazy to think of a grow setup from 25 years ago to my setup now. If anyone is still using this i do have a question or just need a little advice plz reply if your still around
