LEDs pulsing?

Hey, guys I got another question for you here

Two LedEngin 730nm 5w are steadily blinking when hooked up to a 600mA 4-12V driver....

I tested the driver with one of my cxa1304 wired in series with the two LedEngins and the cxa worked normally but now one of the LedEngins was blinking dimly and the other one was dead...

what's going on?

Did you get the polarity right?

Led engin solder pads are arranged a little different last I remember.

Instead of staggered, one side of the star is negative the other side positive

You can see the tiny polarity symbols on the led itself

It did look like it was wired wrong, Positivity, but I saw the tiny pluss and minus on the led itself and I wired it accordingly...

Can I try to wire it differently or do I risk damaging the LEDs? I've noticed that the LedEngins can take a lot of abuse tho...

Hi,

so you're running a cxa and 2 730nm in series, cxa is doing fine and one of your 730 is blinking ?
wait other returns, but for me your 730 are about to die ...

if the polarity is wired correctly, don't try it an other way

Yes, exactly. The two LedEngins are brand new but the model looks dated... I couldn't help myself and tried to reverse the polarity but it seems they both are dead. Before that, I tried to run them with the cxa1304 with an APC-35-700 driver (9-50V 700mA) and they did not respond at all. I sent the seller a message to try and get them refunded. I wired them correctly the first time and they have never worked properly, on top of that they look different from the LED shown in the listing I bought from.

We'll see how it goes. Thanks for the help anyway!
