led ventilation...

So would I be okay to exhaust into the same room since I don't really have heat issues I'm going to be using one 424 cfm fan on a 2x2 and 3x3 tent one for veg and one for flower...I currently exhausted to attic because I had hid but don't really need to now that I dont have the heat issues

what u are talking about is not possible unless u are running open ended venting and use a Wye and possible need for damper

i tried running my tents every ways possible ......for best control and results i have always gotten result with their own exhaust systems .....this allows u to use a open end in veggie and a carbon in flower

i live in a area that i need to hide so a carbon filter on the flowering is a must ......if u are not in one of those area then the wye with damper will work
to test i used stick and a lighter ........turn the system on and split the suction with the damper then put the stick up light the lighter and see how close it gets before it blows out ....check the other side if it is before that point u need to tinker if it is after same thing ........this only works with open end systems (carbon filter change how the air flows in and u would damage pre filter ) redneck science

Yes a Wye to run on both tents I live in the middle of nowhere and honestly I don't give a shit anymore fuck them..

6 inch Wye u mount that on the fan then the ducting onto that ..........if u can u want to find one of these in 6 inches

see that thing inside they use to sell them alone but i can not find it anymore........but u can take it out of that and put it into one of the 6 inch connections on the Wye (what i did) u want that one going to the tent with the shorts length of ducting this will force it to suck down the one with the longer length of ducting

So where do I put this damper again? You're saying I absolutely need it right. On the ducting with the least amount of duct. Do I put it at end of that ducting where air is being sucked out of tent

I'm just using the damper to get more suction out of the longer duct right. Or am I not getting what you said lol

No problem to vent into the room that the tents are in and recycle the air. If the room is part of your living space the plants will benefit from the increase in CO2, although it gets above 1500ppm you might want to vent it. Also you may be able to get away with a lot less than 400cfm to reduce noise and save power. As long as your canopy temp is 80F or below (my preference).

I was thinking I would be able to vent into room I keep the room at 72 degrees with central air and heat.I have all the dehumidifier/humidifier if I need to control humidity and I agree on the fan but I already have it and I got a muffler to put on it so keeping it would save me moolah lol

And nevermind ugh I saw where you said to put damper on the Wye now

These area 51 don't put off any heat that I can tell really..

in the Wye itself ....here is pics


u take the Wye and attach it directly to the fan the side with the damper u use on the short length of ducting and u just close it off some to force the air to be sucked down the longest length of ducting splitting the air flow

Got ya that's what I was thinking you meant just took me a second

To get max flow you want to run 1 duct till you have to y Off Into 2 and I would put the damper on veg tent so you can tune your flow. Imo you would want a little more air flowing through the flower tent.
