yo, check out my led veg room... comments/suggestions welcome

Right now I have one 50w htgsupply panel. I ordered 3 more, so I'll have 200w of led! I'm excited!!! I also have a small fan that's not on the screen, and on the left is a carboy for brewing beer (co2)

The left is Sour Diesel and the right is DJ Short's True Blue. I got the clones at harbor side health center in oakland

Oh yeah... I'm using fox farm trio and sunshine organic soil. The temp is around 68-72degf and humidity is around 70%. I'm hoping that the extra three panels will raise it..

I ditched the True Blue because it doesn't work for my medical needs, so I don't think I need the other lights. Also, I had some nute problems, so I'm going to veg them for an extra week to make up for the loss time. I just topped them before the pic, so that took off 4 inches or so.

nothing is wrong with the true blue. Sour Diesel is supposed to be better for anxiety, so I went with that. The true blue is really, really short maybe 8 inches. The Sour Diesel is 17in w/o the top. I don't want to flower more than one plant on led.

ok. i see. so are you using only red leds? or a mixture? I was looking into leds a lot before i started my grow and i find it to be a really cool way to grow.

I'm using this led: http://htgsupply.com/growlights.asp?categoryID=1&subcategoryID=168&typeID=90

There are better panels avail. I seriously doubt that this is going to be enough light to flower, but it appears to veg just fine under them. I'll keep posting every 2 weeks or so

Overall, this light seems pretty gnarly. Advantages: no heat, you don't have to water as much, don't have to have massive vents, you can keep the light closer to the top of the plants, lasts 10 years, uses little electricity (50 watts), and they're pretty cheap at $140. Disadvantages: Probably not enough light for flowering.

Right on, good to see another LED grower on the site. I have the 120w tri-band from htgsupply and have seen amazing results. I also have a 55w tri-band panel (not htgsupply) on the way so I will be following your grow closely. Best of luck!

Beginning of 5th week (flower)
The plant is about 20 inches

I added a mecury vapor uvb supplement light, and I added a dehumidifier

it's not a CFL it's a mecury vapor uvb supplement. It also warms up the plant since leds don't produce heat

I had a freaking shelf fall on the plant. It didn't grow any more for 4-5 days, and then it started shooting up an inch a day. It's at 24 inches now. Also had to take out the mecury vapor light because it's getting too hot for it. It's 80degf now w/ led and the dehumidifier. It's also sitting around 70% RH.

I had to remove the lower branches because they were damaged by the shelf. Also, I had to thin it out because there were a bunch of ripped/damaged leaves
