led ufo bulb?

I saw a local advert for a 90w LED ufo bulb.
"New 90 watt led ufo hydropronic grow light lamp Same as 400 - 600 Watt HPS"

are these any good? they want $245 Canadian for it.

I used to use the LED panels.. I had 6 of them and I think they were 90 watts too. They work. I know a few guys on here have had sucess with them.. I didn't find I liked the growth.. I switched to flourecents and saw immediate difference. The thing with them, is guys that have grown with them all seem to say the same thing. They work ok for veg.. not good at all for flowering.. you can.. but you end up with fluffy buds. I think for the price, you can get all set up with brand new flourescents and fixtures for a little over $100 at crappytire and you can find the shop fixtures all over the internet for cheaper if you want to spend the time looking.

My advice, if you haven't bought it, don't. If you already did, think about getting some additional light, or do what alot of us that have them are doing and use as side lighting.

I don't have experience with the 90 watt UFO, and have read some people love them.. so make sure you read my reply with that grain of salt too.. I'm not sure about these in particular, but I didn't find much success with LED.

I have 4 RGB LED stage light fixtures but have not decided to grow with them yet. Since they are stage lighting would the red color choice during flowering and blue during vegetation be just as good as fluorescents?

I asked abt them at Worms Way and the lady said she wouldn't carry them cuz they're not worth it.
