LED suggestions 4x4x8 tent DWC

Looking for suggestions on a new light for the tent. I have been using a Sun system LEC315. It has worked great, other than the heat issue. I am looking for a good LED for a 4x4x8 tent that I can use for both veg and flower. I am very much a newbie, trial and error has been the way through this journey. Still geting down the science of how many watts and lumens are needed. I typically have 2 plants in this tent.
I thank you for any assistance with this one.

What’s your budget??? That usually helps people narrow it down quite a bit from so many lights that are available these days for your size space
I’m no LED expert but I switched from a sun system LEC myself in a 3x3 to an HLG 350R but they are a little pricey for some people and there are also lots of good quality cheaper brands to choose from too so don’t worry at all if your budget doesn’t allow for certain brands
More about getting everything else dialed in and using proper watts per sq ft plus keeping light at right distance from your canopy to avoid stretching and get good penetration too

With LED lighting 30-40w per square foot is a great range.

Are you growing in the full 4x4 area? If so I recommend a 480W LED but I'd be careful with it since it will throw more than 2X the amount of photons a 315W LEC will.

Budget is up in the air. I would like to keep it relatively cheap, but the same time want quality. I saw there were a couple around the $800 range. If that is the case, I can hold off a couple more months to purchase it.

I have 2 plants that take up the entire tent. I am still learning the differences of needs between veg and flower, so keeping it simple is also a plus.

HLG 350R I see that is about $600. I would need to figure out the dimmer, but looks good. I am sure with a relatively mid range IQ I could figure it out.
Growers Choice roi 420 is about $500

Growers choice roi 420 is probably a better choice being higher wattage and a lower price point for you to get into
My HLG I love but it’s a bit small for your space as I’m in a 3x3 so from them I’d recommend one of their bigger lights like maybe the HLG black bird it’s about 849 but I’m sure it will have good spread over your area as will the growers choice imo and if you decide to buy direct from HLG there is a discount code RIU10 gives you 10% off too

It would be helpful to know what part of the world you live in too. May make a difference to what is recommended.

If I can offer a bit of advice, don't rush , take your time to assess all options, there are many

Shouldn't be having heat issues with a sun system in a 4x4x8. Since you only have 2 plants are you only using part of your tent or are you wanting to light it up from corner to corner?

I light it up corner to corner! Not sure why, but the tent can get really hot, over 100 degrees if I dont have the fun running at full capacity. That is the main reason I am looking to switch. Everything else has been good with the light (other than the heat).

Im looking at the HLG blackbird. Anyone try that? Any issues with light penetration through the canopy?
Same question for the Growers Choice ROI-E420. There is a lot to choose from!
The penetration of the Growers Choice roi 420 is very good. For the money you can't go wrong. But you will need good ventilation to keep temps in check.

I used to run it in a 3x3. I increased exhaust to 6"and ran it on full most of the time. As soon as June came around I had to pretty much leave the tent open when the lights were on
