are you referring to the old strips with the solder pad issues?

All Cutters new strips are fixed of that issue
where they fixed before march? because I ordered back then a lot of strips had issues I talked to mark he said to solder wire to it but its like like tf and I sent him a email asking if he could send me a replacement for a strip that has like 20 chips out that's why I dont like cutter. this was on atleast 12 of the strips i had to solder.....

Yes before March, Mark assured me that problem was resolved and fixed properly back in late December/early January. I have a pile of them here in my work shop, i haven't built the lights yet. I did have a look at the connectors and compared them to the old strips, they are def improved but thats not too say, its still not good enough.

Sucks you had problems man, i know how irritating that can be. Ive had to solder 25+ connectors on my old strips so far, they would fall off if you breathe to heavy around them ffs.

Ill be testing them rigorously before i build the lights, if i see that they arent up to standard, ill just remove all the connectors and solder everything(i know, we shouldnt have to do this) but its much better than having to pull lights down that are above plants or even worse, soldering them in place with plants below.

ik that's the real point tho having to do this when I can go the bxeb or Sammy route and have a better time. Its just those metal joint are kinda shit imho the bxeb ones and Sammy ones no problem I know how cutter could fix this problem very easy just says to me something is up. but I sent mark 2 emails so far nothing that's why I think I wont buy from them again. soldering aint bad but its having the connections bare like that its a danger simple as that. sorry if im being a asshole but I expect good products if i spend 500 bucks on strips simple as that. their is another problem with the joints i can tell ya that if they said they fixed it before march imma have to call bullshit sorry its just i ordered in march i shouldn't have had the problem. my 2c idk bongsmilie

not being an asshole at all, info like this is valuable to potential buyers.

I agree with you completely, its not an issue we as buyers should have to deal with.

yeah people really should know this, I think they have strips with the plastic connector but bit more expensive. that's a reason why I like my bxebs well when they were normal priced like 4 bucks a pop I could stack up more bxebs and run all of them lower and more efficient. the cutter strips can be ran more harder but I like having many more strips them and spread.

Can any of y'all give me the part#s to the CHEAPEST 4' Strips available? I would have used the 2' arrow strips for $4.90 but or course, they've jumped back up to $26. Ya snooze ya loose I guess.
I just have to e thoughts about inter canopy lighting to get the buds more light. 2' strips might actually be best honestly to use per site of the 8 bucket RDwC. But let me know if you have the cheapest strips part #s.

Thanks guys!
Vesta strips give you almost 200 diodes for less than a tenner. Bloom and vegg spectrum, and running both at the same time gives you 4000k 90cri which grows the same as 3000k 80cri as far as what ive seen. I rec about 20w per strip for easy thermals.

I'll be honest, I don't think we'll see those prices come down again anytime soon. Summers here which means more orders coming in for contractors to jbstall them into buildings. Come fall though, maybe.

i bought mine after the price went up first, next day it was at 5$ again. i suspect there’s a robot acting on demand. right after i ordered mine the price went up again.

Im thinking herd. Last i hear around 20% in stockholm and new york already have antibodies. If that means immunity we could be a happy herd in a month or 2.

Weve been lockdowned since the 13th of march. This shit is getting old fast. No weed clubs and weve been out for a while but really, i think it might be better for me that way.

Oh shit, you're weedless? Bummer, man! But hey, a little T-break could make for a great buzz when you get back to it.

did they close then or shortages? i noticed in the US they were deemed "essential" in some states...quite the turnaround since reefer madness.
Yep, here in Michigan the dispensaries were initially shut down, but then quickly deemed essential and reopened for curbside pick-ups only. Glad people can still get their meds, but the supply chain just took a huge hit because the regulators finally cut out the caregivers, so the shops can only get product from licensed commercial growers - and there aren't many of those up and running yet. Prices will probably skyrocket.

They closed due to everything closing down. Weed clubs are still a grey area. Most do what they can to avoid taxes and such. Were not allowed outside unless were going shopping for food, going to the hospital (yeah right, its corona central) or taking care of old and sick. Actually its been ok, just staying inside and smoking black afgan is not a great cure for stress. Anyways i have a new connect if id need.

They did an antibody test close by me a week or 2 ago. Kind of promising i think, although the number of infected that never experienced symptoms is discouraging/encouraging? https://www.businessinsider.com/coronavirus-test-200-chelsea-massachusetts-finds-32-percent-exposed-2020-4
