LED Recommendations

Hey Everyone!!! Currently my grow tent is 5' x 5' x 80" and I'm running two of the vipar spectra XS2000's. Now it's upgrade time as I'm building a 6' x 8' x 80" flower room. Is there leds out there that would be sufficient for a 5 x 5 space, but be expandable to accommodate the bigger space (once it's done). I'm looking for really high quality lights so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Current Flower tent Setup:
5- 5 gallon DWC buckets running White Widow x Big Bud.

I’m using a Phlizon FD6500. Almost 2 years and zero problems. Produces very well. Phlizon ships free to the Lower 48. Check this pup out.

Don't think the #Ez8 from @MedicGrow is expandable but it's doing great in my 5x5.

Mammoth has a beast of an LED coming out that puts out 2600 umol. Has 3752 Diodes.

Appreciate the input! I'm saving ALL recommendations to a spread sheet so I can compare. Just one question, why would you buy that light when this light is cheaper and the specs look better to a novice like me (only been growing LED for 2 years/10 years w/600w HPS). I'm curious!

One thing I'd like to add is I'm trying to grow 6-8 (preferably plants under the light. So with this being the case wouldn't I want something with a really high PPF?

I would be thinking about getting plenty of light. Brand regardless, my goal would be 250w per 2.5x2.5=6.25 Sq ft. So a 1000w to play with

100w per square is overkill. Most people running leds are closer to 35

35 to 50 modern Boards or Bars. Even then, care must be taken to avoid LED Light Burn.

No, he has 25 square feet. I just suggest rounding up not down, lights can degrade over time, be nice to have the ability to go up past 80% if you wanted to

This has been my findings so far as well! So far I'm leaning towards hotrod's recommendation. I still need to sleep it on for awhile, but that's where my brain is at right now.

The Mammoth has the New EVO Mint White Samsung Diodes, plus LM301B. The Mammoth has more far red, which increases yield. The Mammoth has more diodes. The Spider farmer red spectrum goes to 665nm, and the Mammoth goes to 730nm

Spider Farmer Full spectrum (3200-4200K,4800-5000k, 650-665nm

Mammoth 8 Bar Mint White...... SAMSUNG "Mint White" EVO LM301h + LM301B (3000k + 5000K) and Proprietary RED (660nm and 730nm)

The EVO chips also shift the spectrum to have more Blue. The EVO diode shifts the Blue from 450nm to 437nm.
