led pcb build 624 + lm561c leds

I've been thinking about haveing made some pcbs with over twice the leds (624) on around the same footprint as a quantum board

I'm thinking of adding the option of perhapes some reds to the board also .

Or the ability to add a cob like a bridglux 1750k

I'm thinking this as i can have these made relatively cheaply as these little LEDs are powerful and cheap

i am still researching this however

any comments would be welcome

i looked at 700 of these on the samsung led calculator and 624 on the array wizzard

the funnyest thing ive just by chance stumled across the manufaturer of quantum board s and they are going to make mine happy days with even more leds

For myself I would like to have a board at least 300mm square and have LESS diodes. Hi density makes it harder to cool

they are 300x 300 im debating less however i can always turn them down getting a quote in the morning

im getting a small batch made to test then will look at perhaps selling these once the design is tweeked i may add some reds to the design but the leds are hugely more expensive

yeh, I would probably drop the reds because of the cost.

well these come in at just under $60 each if i order 100 with 702 leds on ,
if i feel i need red i might add a 49.2 size hole that pops out so you can add a BXRC-17E10K0-C-74 1750k 80cri . i thought the puk that pops out could function as a small cob on its owen and could be used else were

i was told i didnt need resistors by the manufacturer how ever the wizard i used realy thinks i do

im making my own with lm301b leds on im nearly ready to place the order with the manufacturer im am debating if i should make them a bit like the chilled bordss however

i was going to try them but they are always out of stock and i would profer to have more leds and run them all at 65ma the optimum they can be run up to 200ma so there is loads of wiggle room too
