Who is your gripe with?

You defended lamps with unknown diodes at first saying "look at me i can grow with anything", yet then you flippy-floppied, dropped a bunch of money and built a lamp with the most efficient chips in the world.

Now youre on a crusade to save the world from the lamps that you were championing two mos ago.

He won't say that they are better because the company has contracted out Chinese manufacturing work to be done to strict specifications. Because then, the distinction of 'chinese junk' becomes clear and he can't admit that he was wrong.

My chinese Mars lights are kicking ass and I can't help it that it didn't work out for you and you guys don't have any idea of where the led's are made. Keep lying to yourselves.

Secondly I'm still using my Mars II lights with great results and my led's are still made in china. Please don't get confused I'm laughing my ass off from you guy's ignorance about me. You don't know who I am nor I do you. The only thing I can say is I have $8000 more to spend on my LED research. I got mental issues remember. You should see me new lights they look fabulous lol.

Im not trashing your alibaba seller. Simply letting new folks know that not all alibaba sellers are created equal. Youve validated kingbrite. Hats off to you for guinea-pigging it. I dont doubt the chinese made top of the line chips you bought are the real deal. Not everyone has a $12k budget for LED research, so thanks to you folks can buy with confidence from kingbrite.

When you buy from an established online retailer eg: digikey/mouser/newark/arrow/verical there is no risk involved. You are getting the chips advertised without question.

I dont give a shit about your mars lamp. The only argument ive ever made is that it is not as efficient as a lamp with quality chips.

Digikey doesn't even package your cob's right. I had an issue with them sending me the wrong part but they made good. One other thing is they charged me sales tax and they're in Mn if I remember. I got mid bin from them and top bin from Kingbrite. This wasn't the first time I've ordered from Alibaba not led's but stuff for my buddies hydro store. 6" & 8" XXL Reflectors.

Of course man, you are one of the ones who understand me. I'm almost done with the Mars lights and they work great if you know what you are doing with them. Gonna still make more lights maybe some low efficiency high output lights for a test or try a micro grow. I have stealth box ideas .

Once you try what you've built once, you will probably never want to use anything else, until there's 60% efficient lights in a few years. I think you will get amazing efficiency and yield with the panels you built in comparison to the mars.

First time trying vero, I realized it was brighter than i thought it would be. I was going by the old 40-50W/sqft rule. You with the cxa should be even better.

I agree already. I have put a Pineapple Chunk under my light with the Mars having a Chunk as well and the DIY light is killing it. Although I had the plant under the Mars light for the first 2 weeks of flower

I will replace one of my cheapazz 300w panels with 2 Vero29 3k and one 5k. Dimmers for veg/bloom. Should be about the same draw. Turn blue off in bloom. Parts will be in by next week. I have 3 SLH, 2 Sourd and one Haze about 3 weeks old. In about 70 days we will see.

There's a lot of snake oil (predation) in the LED market. If you're going to err in any way, erring on cheap limits the risk. When you start looking at expensive lights, be *very* careful. Expect details about the diodes they use, the spectrum, etc. If they won't publish those details it's probably because they don't have anything special to justify the price they're asking.

I call bs, its funny, some were all complaining about various shipping things and he pops out of nowwhere to complain about Digikey...lol. Yeah fucking right, I have done probably over 20 orders from them in the last 2-3 months. One order was messed up. One, and they immediately rectified it.....so if they fucked, I think you fucked up and didn't immediately get on them to say "Hey my order is messed up".
So now we don't know if you Fucked up or Digikey.......

Can we close this fucking thread please!

Get into your minds like I have already just let it go move on or hit the ignore button.If I can remember we I live in America or at least I do. Btw the lights I have constructed are better than the mars lights. All but the heat sink is made in America. You guys are keep trying to make me clown again but I have mental issues yeah right. Please try harder. I don't understand why you guys are so mad because I said all led's are made in China as well as other products. It's not my fault you like to be lied too.

And Reals I can honestly say I'm not impressed. What happened to BIG plants? Ever hear of something called a book? And clean that shit up! Put the COB in the middle with the panels directed 20° or so into the grow after you cull some of those plants. What do you think this is Ghostbusters and you can't "cross the streams"? Weak sir.
