Hello guys, I’m currently looking at purchasing some of the Led lights from Viparspectra and my question is if any of you guys tried them and can recommend them ? Or know of any good company’s which aren’t too expensive but of course do the job.

Thanks

If you can’t afford good leds just stay with hps. I wouldn’t waste my money on anything that produces purple light or a good chip set.

Yeah man avoid blurples like the plague. Some good brands of leds are Horticulture Lighting Group, Timber Grow Lights, those two are high end leds (pricey) but will last if taken care of. A cheaper but still effective led is one called the Auto Cob sold at Cobshop.net. You can buy bundles of four or get one thats about 135$.

Best decision I made was going with HLG's from the start. I really would have regretted going with Amazon blurples.

If youre set on buying an affordable LED buy a bloomspect. the "300 watt" is $60 and the "600 watt" is $98.
They work better than most more expensive blurples.

If you can afford to spend 180-250 either buy a quantum board from horticulturelightinggroup or cobs from cobshop.net.

I agree with another comment HPS is better than Blurple.

another thing to keep in mind is temps. Leds work best around 80-85 degrees.

Hps is best in the mid to high 70's.

I bought a QB and am slightly disappointed in how it works in winter when temps are cold. I also had some low co2 issues for a couple weeks though.

Check out B701 on youtube. he documents his grows with the "600" watt bloomspect
