I guess its possible, I dont have any inside information or anything, or any experience with the phoenix model at all. They do advertise the phoenix as being made in the USA, I guess it could certainly be a case of "assembled in the usa from global materials" like an Ipod used to be. Its possible I have a bit of a blind spot towards spectrum king, but I respect what they did for Led's, at least in my eyes.
I cant find any info on their web about the phoenix being american made, just some general statement of american made lights.

Re mentions of warranty: make sure to find out what the warranty is for, some of the 5y warranties are actually only covering the driver for the full 5 years (man.warr.)

More likely it was designed in the USA and built elsewhere.

I saw a video on youtube where the spectrum king guy said they were American made, that and the fact that their other lights are american made is what I was going off, if you google spectrum king phoenix it will come up.

You should grab one, you will not be sorry. I have one but may get another for 2nd tent
I went back to that same store on tuesday to check them out again, ended up getting a couple "grow pros solutions" 660's plus the extension bars instead. Not anywhere near as sexy as the misfit colossus though, that purple anodizing is sick. I think the super wide coverage of the growpros with the extension bars is gonna work great for me though, and dude made me a deal I just couldn't pass up.

Not a bad choice but the colossus is my choice. Being able to control spectrums plus the coverage are ideal for me. Plus the owner of the company has phenomenal customer support, is a local grower and has some upgrades for those that make the choice. Being able to control it wifi would be a selling point right? Never too late
