This is my bxeb fixture I did this one a little bit different but their would be a different way to do this that would be easier my second light is my cutter light I’m not completely happy with but it works I wish I just went the bxeb route for it. But this is the general idea lots of other people that make strip lights I just need to make the wires for clean.
Someone needs to look up soldering and junction boxes

What's up guys Im looking for anyone that could give some info about what size LEDs I'll need for a 6.5x 6.5x 9 grow room. I'm looking to switch over from an HPS /MH. I've looked into Mars hydro TS 3000 quantum boards Let me know what you think. bongsmilie

Since you expressed you have the electrical ability (which not much is required TBF) google "led gardener strip builds"

Just to give you an idea of what strips are good. He lists the part numbers so you can search them and find the best price locally.
He also gives many examples per given space. Though his prices might be a bit out of date.

What part of the world are you in?

It just needs to be cleaned up a little, not a big deal. Some people are into building a highly engineered masterpiece, others only care about function.

Wiring a large number of strips is something most struggle with. Next time I do a parallel wired build, I might run wire from each strip to a junction point and use the age old technique known as wire bundleing. The bundled wire would run from a junction point near the driver, then wires would branch off from the bundle to the individual strips. Other options are split wire loom or wire ducts. Hint, do searches for images. ;-)

Thanks for the info say if I wanted to do like a 32x32x62 tent how many would I need?
For just over 7 square feet, one 4-pack of QB132 will be sufficient for a full cycle grow, especially in a tent.

For drivers: HLG-240H-36 (A,B, or AB depending on preference), or the HLG-240H-C1750 (A,B, or AB) has just enough DC voltage for four QB 132 V2 wired in series.

If you're want to oversize your driver slightly and run it dimmed a little to 300 watts or less, the HLG-320H-C2100 (A,B, or AB) is a great option.

If you want to save a little money you can use an XLG-240-M-AB and wire four boards in series.

I would prefer one of those options over something like the LRS-350-36, especially if there is a chance you will be mounting the driver inside of your grow space.
