Id do a hard pass on that. 100w of actual draw using old diodes. Leave and check out HLGs deal on their V1 quantum boards.
Dont be tempted by good reviews on amazon, those purple lights are never good.

You can do a basic hlg 4x4 for around 300$. 4 v1 boards w heatsinks: 200
2 basic 240 drivers: around 100

Despite already knowing what an amazing deal those v1 boards are, seeing the component cost of lighting a 4x4 listed out like that still blows my mind. Crazy time!

So for that sort of space you want 50w per square foot for cheap LED, (real wattage, as in the power draw)
Or
30-35w per square foot with more efficient lights like HLG or spider farmer, the mars ts range fall in between probably looking around 40w+ per square foot for best results.
I would recommend getting a kit too or parts and DIY, its not difficult and you get more light for you £/$ but I appreciate its not what some people are expecting to be doing when they start looking to get into LEDs.
I would stay away from cheap lights on amazon and remember most reviews are written 5min after the light has been plugged in and not after a whole harvest has been completed.
Always look for the recommended coverage in flower so you don't end up with a light that will only light up 1/2 your space.
The mars 600ts covers 1.5ft x 1.5ft so with a 1m tents even 4 of them is a bit under lit, doesn't sound such a good deal then ey.

Best for 3x3 at most but just because you have slightly more space doesn't mean you have to fill it.
CMH makes great looking plants for sure. Bulbs are expensive but if you treat them right they should last a while.
They on sale atm for 129 pound

Cmh 315 is a bit underpowered for a full meter imo. Maybe if you dont fill the entire tent. Performance is not very different to led, but its easier to grow with, led needs a fair bit control over the environment to get the plants to transpire.

Its a good deal provided you get the ballast + bulb and reflector for that.

Avoid the amazon leds, theyre almost all crappy. Really, all the purple ones seems to be shite.
Cmh and led work good together aswell. We use a mix innorder to keep temps where we want it during winter time, and more leds during the summer.

Easiest would be to buy a cmh for now and come hotter summer months a few ledstrips around the sides: dim rhe cmh over summer and boost the leds and vice versa during winter.

You could also try one of the china lights, there are several for around 350$.spiderfarmer SF models seems to be a decent low cost led upgrade. But youre a bit stuck for warranty if something happens.
