Absolutely, the hot side needs to be outside the tent.
It depends on the operating current. Bridgelux EB's are just fine at nominal/test current.

Im probably not telling you anything you dont know, but the last couple pics (37 and 40) look like the plants arent getting (enough) Mg for some reason.. Any idea why? (ph/nutes?)
Lights are looking good.. You gonna keep using the blurples as side lighting this next round?

I got the plants by default happen to be ready for new crop ,they were going to be thrown away . Hey got to give them a chance.
And no purples on this run ,because plants matured at different times ,same seeds ,2 difrent lights used,cut out the problem.
If this run proves the same it's got to be dwc recirc system.

Heat was exsessive 35°c to 40°c
Was hateing my tent at this point
More fans a 2 chiller s leaving the door unzipped caused it own problems"moths" catapilars.

Whats your temps without the purples? what chemdawg are you working with? I ran HSO a time or two and found a couple nice ones.. 1 was one of the best smokes Ive ever had so if you have any way to keep clones you might find something worth keeping

So no clones ,am experimenting with autos leds and 2nd run on dwc recirc (love this system) at the same time first full run on these lights,always trying to tweek system every run,last run ionic hydro feed 3/4 strength with overdrive as finisher,this one I'll thinking on goliath for weight mass.
