LED light for 2x4 Grow Space

Spiderfarmer sf2000
Mars ts series

Crxsunny 240w boards are like a knockoff of the spiderfarmer lights pretty much the same thing with a heat sink and extra wattage. And build yourself. Theyre even on sale right now. Thats a steal if u ask me

Equivelence to a 400w HPS and perfect for a 2x4

That looks really good for the price is there any values reported for the Crxsunny board?

You'd have to check around. It is a veey good light for the money. Lm301b diodes and meanwell drivers are top end. Go for a 3000k with 660nm for best flowers imo. Peace. bongsmilie

I am new but those are just the drivers? is timber a type of led board?

It's $437 after the code "RIU10".

And ya, Timber is a LED company. There code is "TIMBER2020R".

okay looks good to me! so the 301-h's are really that much better then the b's in terms of value then???

HLG gets the best diodes and is top quality which is a big one for me. They also are the inventors of the quantum boards, everyone else just copied them. I'm not a fan of Chinese knockoffs, but some people seem to like a couple brands on here.

If you can't afford it, I say "Go Big or Go Home!", lol.

what would you say is the benefit of getting the 320W over the 260?
More light and a more even spread. I have 2 135's in my 2x4 veg tent. That would work too. I like to be able to adjust them individually for different heights if I need to, and I have a pretty even spread. 2 135's or a 240 is a tiny bit underpowered for a 2x4, and the 320 is about perfect, maybe even a tiny bit more than you need.

Actually the 2 135's would be right around 35 watts a sq ft if maxed out. The 320 you could turn down a little and have better spread though. They'd both work.

Never heard of it. Are you in the UK?

The 320 watt R-Spec kit with 3 boards is also driven a little softer (1750mA vs. 2100mA I believe) than the 260 watt kit with 2 boards.
So in addition to higher Photosynthetic photon flux output, the system efficacy is slightly higher with the 320 watt kit.

I am not but someone had recommended it to me as something it has the 301-h's on it and hits 2k ppfd which is dope I was not able to see the specs on the one you had linked for ppfd
Multiply the wattage x system efficacy to get the lights PPF output. 320 watts x 2.63 µmol/J = 841.6 µmol/second for the 320 watt R-Spec kit.

The PPF figure is actually a little higher as Horticulture Lighting Group says that kit will top out at 340 watts.
