Recently got a 2×4 ion board s24 from ac infinity, first time growing photo periods under this light I have they're app and the light is at level one and i have my light at 18 inches, I'm going into week 3 they're growing but at a very slow rate. Wondering if I should raise my light and set the light intensity to level 2 on they're a/c infinity app? Also I got the seeds from a friend of mine and he got the seeds Givin to him from somebody else.. the seeds are from evermore genetics the strain is Wilson Odder Popz. My temperature is dialed in averaging around 75 degrees but my humidity is in the 30% I'm growing in foxfarm ocean forest I also started with a dome for the first week but I had both the two vents opened at the top and after the 3-4th day i off set the dome so that it wasn't fully sealed for more air flow.. I noticed some white mold in the soil. Is this a sign of damping off or could this be some healthy fungi?? Any advice would be appreciated, thank you!

seedlings dont usually need domes, too much moisture and lack of airflow will cause mold/mildew and moss to form on top. Healthy fungi (mycelium) has a cotton candy look up close.

They look really yellow for seedlings. Are you already feeding them? Chasing VPD in lieu of other things, or giving it too much love can lead to issues.

The good news is that Ive seen uglier seedlings pull through, they could very possibly bounce back.

I'm not feeding them yet they sprouted on 1/24 so today is week three il start feeding a low dose of nectar for the gods Gaia Mania I also have the Q from Jay plantspeaker by build a soil do you think the Q might help with the fungus? It does look like white cotton I posted two up close photos of the one on the left it seems to have more then the one on the right..

Level 1 on the lights is low if the settings are 1-10. Do you have a lux meter? Does ACI give suggestions in the manual?
Yea you can set it from 1-10 so I believe 1 is 10% and it's a 200watt light they have a chart but it's not great.. no I don't have a lux meter..

Pretty small for three weeks old. I'd increase my temperature to 80 to 85. Make sure to also have indirect airflow to help strengthen the seedlings. If you have a good smart phone down load a light meter app. Plenty of info here on light levels depending on the age of the plants. Good luck!

I was not advising to start feeding, just making sure you werent. Its a common mistake to see issues and start feeding all kinds of things in attempt to correct it. Ocean forest has enough nutrients for a month or more.

Okay thank you, greatly appreciated, it's kinda cold out rn so my house is in the 70-75 degrees do you think it's best if I raise my light and other 12 inches and increase the intensity to level 2? I don't think I should transplant until the leafs are close to the edge of the cup.. I know the girls are growing at a slow pace but the past three days they started working on they're three pointer leaf!!

No just ph water at 6.5 and I also used some aloe about a weeks ago to see if that might of helped them out,I did sprinkle a small dash of great white. I think it helped a little...

What is hp water? What are you measuring ph with?

That ACI light chart suggests 18" at 40% for seedlings, seems reasonable.

I won't say I know why it's pale, but as @madvillian420 said, Ocean Forest is good for weeks, it's a fairly hot soil. I've started seedlings in it and I didn't add ANYTHING other than 7.5 ph, 0.6 EC tap water.

Over complicating a “ solo “ cup - just top off cup with fresh FFOF ( ocean forest ) and water with TAP.

No PH or other nonsense. Treat it like a houseplant instead of a plant in ICU with charts and numbers .

That little bit of soil will bury that stem and allow better rooting instead of a weak stem and the very bottom only rooting.

Also where did you find the PAR chart that says 18inchs at 40% for seedlings?
